"There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall" Hebrews 4:9

I have never kept the Sabbath in my life, I've been caught up in just going to church on Sunday. I see now that God still wants us to keep the Sabbath. I've been struggling a lot with having my faith in my heart and not my brain, so maybe keeping the Sabbath will be a huge step in my faith.

Any thoughts?

(This question is for Christians only because all Atheists and such will say is "I don't keep the Sabbath because religion is manmade" or whatever....................... But if you want the points for answering a question you can go ahead, I wont be a jerk and report you. I just wont pay attention to you.

they are unwilling to give up their sinful lifestyles, don't want to be held accountable, or don't want to live by any morals. Where in the hell do you get that stupid misinformation?
Thanks.

These are somewhat Atheist based songs, and I was wondering how many people out there would be willing to download or purchase more music like this.

Anyone experince communication from the other side, can be a smell, a thump in the night, etc? If you don't have the sense in understanding what they want, then how can you help them? Besides incense sticks, and candles, what else can you use? Is it possible for the dead to be trapped within the living and afterlife worlds,if so why is that? Looking for an answer from someone who actually experinced, or experiences these things, and what to do about them. Mature responses please.ThankYou

The foregoing should in no way discourage an interest in science. To be sure, the Bible itself invites us to learn from God’s handiwork and to discern God’s amazing qualities in what we see. (Isaiah 40:26; Romans 1:20) Of course, the Bible does not claim to teach science. Rather, it reveals God’s standards, aspects of his personality that creation alone cannot teach, and his purpose for humans. (Psalm 19:7-11; 2 Timothy 3:16) Yet, when the Bible does refer to natural phenomena, it is consistently accurate. Galileo himself said: “Both the Holy Scriptures and nature proceed from the Divine Word . . . Two truths can never contradict one another.” Consider the following examples.

Even more fundamental than the movement of stars and planets is that all matter in the universe is governed by laws, such as the law of gravity. The earliest known non-Biblical reference to physical laws was made by Pythagoras, who believed that the universe could be explained by numbers.

"And one of the Scribes came, and having heard them REASONING TOGETHER, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the First Commandment of all?" Mark 12:29

"Master, which is the Great Commandment in the Law?" Matthew 22:36

Is not the First Commandment the beginning of REASON and the beginning of REASONING TOGETHER?

If Christians and Muslims were to try to understand that the Messiah or the Christ or the Masih is the force that draws them together in conflict, then Chrisians and Muslims need to be honest with themselves and with each other and understand too that the Messiah or the Christ or the Masih would have wanted them to REASON TOGETHER.

And if the First Commandment is "THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE", then TRUTH can only be One, and, at the end of the day Christians and Muslims will arrive at that One Truth if they reason together.

Can Christians and Muslims ever REASON TOGETHER to discover the Truth of the Messiah, the Christ, or the Masih???

We humans share with rats the same basic features of brain architecture, physiology and cell biology. And like them, we navigate our sensory environment aided by complex neural networks producing multiple representations of the surrounding world, shaping perception from moment to moment on a minute scale according to variations in attention, motivation and mood and taking into account our previous sensory experiences. Why do you think your so special that an everlasting soul be given to you and not a rat?

I am 17 years old and i was born a Catholic Christian, and my whole family is Catholic and the baptized and confirmed thing is all over now. But what i am having a hard time with is solidness of my faith, i don't like to say i don't believe in anything but i have a hard time believing in a lot of things, i guess i am just confused. I have people all around me who know their religion and i have tried for so long to understand it, i went to sunday school for who knows how many years and it sounds just crazy that i can't get into it. I guess i am just scared because i am perfectly fine just being me and not feeling like i have to have religion in my life, but then i get around people who know what its like, and i wonder if all the stories of hell and heaven are true. Any suggestions on what to do?

Please, this is not mandatory, but if I can have your prayer, to pray for her, her family, friends, and mostly her father that he lives. I'm not trying to force any religion, and please do not misinterprate this. She is a wonderful girl, who is ALWAYS happy. She is hilarious all the time, and is sooo nice. She doesn't desverve tradgedy. Thank you.

Say you're living life and doing all the things you think are right. Turns out God/Allah/Buddha/Jehovah/Other thinks you totally screwed up and sends your butt to hell or something like it.

My true question is: Do you believe in your beliefs because you hold it true in your heart or because it's the "rules" in order to go to "heaven".

Supporting arguements are encouraged! =)
