When you love your child, you love your child without conditions of any kind. It matters not what your child might do to you, or say to you, while it may sadden you, it would never destroy your love for that child. That is unconditional love. Without conditions of ANY kind.

There is indeed such a thing. To me unconditional means without the need for anything in return, no matter what the circumstances.

Okay firstly what Christian told you they LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY. Only God can do that. Trust me even how much I try I still can not find the heart to forgive an enemy. I do not want to. Christians all sin and everyone for that matters does even if you say you don't. So anyways no a human can not love unconditionally. It is impossible. If you can give me a soul that has not hated before than I will congradulate you for obtaining a soul and confiding it to a space out of body. Also if you don't want to read that in shorter terms- Unconditional love by humans impossible. Every human has hated.

Unconditional love means without conditions or qualifiers such as 'if you don't get sick/ugly/poor/irritating etc.'. It means through thick and thin. Permanence is implied. Except for death, which gets you out of most things.

There is an ideal we all dream about and strive towards of uncondidtional love. The nearest thing I can think of is the love of a parent for a child. To me this means whatever that person may or may not do they are still loved so there are no conditions like being faithful, treating in a cetrtain way etc. We are told to believe that God loves us all in this way....so no matter what we do if we repent we are saved. Think tho for me the repent bit is a condition so does it really really exist. Yes for some parents to child I believe it does.

That no matter what you worship, believe, how you live your life, what you look like, people love you or accept you unconditionally. Most people give you rules to go by before they accept you or love you they give you conditions= conditional. People like say your family normally will love you unconditional, meaning no matter if they disapprove of your life or whatever, they will love you no matter what that is a true family or friend that will accept you mo matter what. Understand?

Donna Summer sang about it in a song once. She called it "the kind of love I deserve, the kind I want to return".

No matter what Susan does (what she manages to break, usually), I just keep loving her, so much I would kill for her or die for her. I reckon that must be unconditional love. It's expensive!

Yes there is such a thing!!! Once you feel it, you will know it.

However, it's someone loving you or you loving someone else regardless of what they have done in their lives. It's a wonderful experience to know that someone has loved you in such a way.
