Thank you for sharing that. I know a great many people find that a very inspiring passage. Like many people on this planet, I am not of your faith and do not believe Jesus was the son of a supernatural being, but I respect your right to share your beliefs.

May your faith inspire many great acts of generosity and kindness.

Amen! May I restate that? John 3:16 For God so love the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that every one who believes into him shall not perish, but shall have eternal life.
And He died for our SINS, but I guess you could say life because we were all going into the lake of fire anyways at that time, right? Thanks for announcing it to the world!

AMEN Sister girl! (Or Brother man) You know what is funny? Let me tell you. I know that there are people out there that don't believe in our Lord and Savior, but ever notice how many people that are on-line and Yahoo, "Claim" to be non-believers? I think that is just silly willy! They just have to read something about religion, or God, they type in their words that they don't believe. Pretty lame is what I say. If you don't believe in God, then don't freaking answer the questions that mention his name! Rock on Soul Sisters & Brothers! Oh, and Merry Christmas to you! And Happy New Year also!

Do I believe that Jesus loved everyone, Yes! But I don't believe that he died for anyone. I don't believe that God would not put the burdens or sins of one person onto another.

That's absolutely right! That's the reason I'm going to be a pastor. I'm glad there's one more person in the world who understands His love.

all you know is that jesus died.

as soon as you make judgments, such as that he died for our sins, or that he died for us to live, etc, you are in the realm of your opinion and not of fact. the fact is that there is no evidence that jesus died for our sins or so that anybody could live. the facts say nothing more than that he died. you just have faith that this was the reason he died, but unless there is some reason to believe he died for our sins or so that we could live (and there isn't any reason to believe this), then why should anybody believe it?

No. I was totally unaware until this second. I never read any of these religious posts here. I've never heard of a bible, either, or been threatened to an eternity of pain by the people who follow Christ.

Nope, never knew.

Now I know that you think that, but it's up to me to decide if I want to believe in something that has never been proved.

Yeah Xians tend to use that quote all the time, but I'm still not seeing ANY proof that Jesus was real.

I'm figuring he's another made up fallacy. Another great (I must admit) Myth.
