A friend has two children and the mother moved into a new house (new to them). At night...a spirit or being makes them feel as if they are being "beaten".
What can be done?

There is a divorce, the family's faith is Muslim, not christian.
They must have ways to handle this...or can any faith do it?

Mentally surround them and the house with Bright white Christ light from Heaven(like a big beam of light from above). Ask your Spirit Guides to please see to it that they are protected for now on. Tell them to say out loud in the house that no Spirits are welcome there Except Spirits from the light that are there to protect them. They should feel immediate results.

I have a hard time with that one. I have never bought into moder spirits as in the past. Just as miracle healing is rare these days so to do I believe spirit influence (minus Holy Spirit).
Could these children be seeking attention from the parent? Is this a single parent home and if so did the other parent abuse? could another relative or friend done something to traumatize these kids and this is their outlet?
How old are the children. Could they be hoodwinking their mom whom they believe is a spirit nut? No offense please, but hear me out. I have an Aunt that goes for this stuff and I used to pull pranks and crank her all the time. It could be as simple as that.
Regardless I believe the family needs to sit down and discuss it. If all other areas are debunked then by all means call a Preacher or a Priest. GL with that phone call.

Physically beaten!?! There is something weird going on there. If there really was an entity or something there, they would have gotten away from there somehow right away (even if they had to go to a shelter – I would). I would sell my house crazy fast. There is probably a friend’s house they could go to. Something! Anything!
But how long have they stayed in this house where they are being beaten? Something weird is going on. Do they have physical marks of any kind? If so I would suspect abuse.

Depends on the belief of the mother and children. If they're Christian, an exorcism might help. In the various traditions of Paganism, there are banishings and cleansings that would help. Also, you'd want to rule out overactive imaginations or people who bring this sort of thing on themselves due to depression, attention seeking, or being overly emotional. Having kids (more often female) who are going through puberty might cause a situation like this. The bad thing is is sometimes nothing will work - not even moving. If there are teenagers involved, it may not subside until emotional balance is restored.

They should contact their religious leader (priest, pastor, rabbi, etc) and inquire about a exorcism or purification of the house. Or check the phone book/online for psyhics, wiccan groups, or other "paranormal activity" groups that may be available.
Encouraging the "spirit" by dabbling in Ouija boards or seances would be unsafe and is not recommended. Positive prayer and encouraging the spirit to be calm, seek peace, and go to the light may help.

I am going to answer your question, but I need you to go to my profile, find my 'ANSWERS', and then read my answer to "Why do demons talk to me..." Otherwise, I will be typing the whole thing over again. My explanation (and my personal experience with demonic entities is in my "How do I connect with my spirit guide?" Answer. It seems many people are having more and more interaction with demonic entities. One reason they are getting bolder and more abusive, I believe, is due to them having less and less opposition. People stand in awe and wonder, as if they are little gods to worship or 'interrogate' instead of Rebuke and cast out. Anyone who has been receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, has accepted the forgiveness of sins, and gained a position in the family of God by accepting the Lordship of Jesus in their lives CAN REBUKE AND CAST OUT A DEMON. I have only once been actually choked by a demon, (screamed at many times, antagonized alot, before God showed me my position in Christ) but when I wheezed out (literally) the name of Jesus, it left, just like that. It is a ghost- one should get some holy water from a Church or Temple and throw it around the room. They should clean the room very well. NO dust, cobwebs or any mess. Just a very clean room. They shoul Say the words Hare Krishna very loud and the ghost will go away. If it is a stubborn ghost all the above are important. Also one should bath before bed and brush teeth. Ghosts cling to negative energy and filth.

She needs to find out who owned it first and if those people are involved in spiritism. If they were, she needs to remove all the stuff that is included in their practice because maybe they left something and the demons are still attracted to those stuff.

Well, if it's physically beaten, call a Doctor and have the damage examined.
If it's more of a spiritual nature, call upon an elder of your given faith.
If you don't subscribe to a given faith, call some Para-psychologists and have them check out the house.

Contact a priest or spiritual healer to perform an exorcism prayer.
