Spirits and ghosts are demons (fallen angels) tricking people into believing the lie, that there is life after death. That's why the Bible tells you not to communicate with them.
Genesis 3:4
At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die.
Revelation 12:9
So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
The Bible tells us that after Armageddon, there will be a resurrection and at the moment, the dead are just dead with no thoughts.
Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10
5 For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten...10 All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
Acts 24:15
and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
2 Timothy 2:18
These very [men] have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already occurred; and they are subverting the faith of some.
Basically if God has told us not to speak to spirits, then the good ones will not speak to us. The ones that do are bad, and that's why they lie and decieve us.
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.

I've never seen a ghost, but I do know I have seen astral beings [I think that is what they were]
I'm lax to place any physical phenomena in the realms of spiritual, so at first I thought it was my eyes playing tricks while I meditate, but after a while, I noticed there was a specific time I saw the stuff [For instance, out in my woods spot, at around 3 PM, I've noted I can catch a large white dog walking around], and if I blink it's still there.
I don't see very often, mostly I feel prescences.
I believe because I'm fairly certain I've experienced them, and as far as I know, I am not schizophrenc.

No I have not personally seen a "spirit"
I can tell you though that anyspirit or ghost (other than Gods Holy Ghost) is a demon.

I'm not sure Ive seen any spirits or ghosts. I was raised to believe that there's only angels and demons.

Yes, I have talked to them, seen them, and even touched them.
Once I actually armed wrestled one. Some of them wanted me to sell my soul to the devil,but most of them said good things about Jesus. But gave me wrong information on some subjects.
And there were other people who were with me during most of those experiences.....and they weren't pretending to be the ghosts.
Although most of the experiences were fun and some of the ghosts were like family, I came to see the ghosts as 'spirits of deceit'.

DEAR FRIEND:
In my 50 plus years of life I have never encountered a ghost. Do I believe in them, I am skeptical but not going to say that its impossible they exist.
As a Christian, I have run into the Holy Spirit. Just look at my picture...its inside of me.

I believe the phenomenon exists but most of the time can be explained scientifically. In a couple rare instances that might not be the case, but the vast majority of the time, I think there are normal explanations for the activity that people report.

See Spirits often after 14 years of psychic school. They still scare the heck out of me sometimes when I'm concentrating on work or something and see them out of the corner of my eye, coming at me. I get knocks on the door lately, no one in the long hallway.

Yes, I have, but I am not going into detail here. Why do I believe? Well, from what I have studied, there is much evidence for a spirit world going on all around us. We are oblivious to it much the time, but it is there, nonetheless.

i have not heard or seen any spirits.
i do believe that ghost, demons (these are definitely real), and spirits exist. they either like the earth too much, left something unfinished, or spirits who want to hurt people or want to be with their loved ones.
