There is no God...

Hence I don't feel compelled to listen to something that doesn't exist, not even in a hypothetical.

Oh, and regarding those people who are yammering about God "not contradicting himself", please know that the Bible DOESN'T speak about homosexuality or homosexual sex being wrong.

The passages in Leviticus, understood IN CONTEXT, are not an admonishment against loving sexual relationships between people of the same sex but instead against sex as a form of domination and control. Besides, these passages are part of the Holiness Code which is not binding to modern day Christians (or anyone else for that matter).

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was a warning against rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. The reason for Sodom's destruction is made clear in Ezekiel 16:48-50. According to Ezekiel, the sins of Sodom were pride, laziness, being inhospitable, neglecting the needs of the poor, greed, and idolatry (the worshipping of idols). Nothing about homosexuality is mentioned.

1 Corinthians was a mistranslation of the word malakee. It's used elsewhere in the Bible to mean someone who lacks discipline or one who is morally weak, and never is it used in reference to sexuality or gender.

1 Timothy? Also a mistranslation. 1 Timothy was an admonishment against male prostitution, not committed, loving same sex relationships.

The words physin and paraphysin in Romans 1 have also been mistranslated. Contrary to popular belief, the word paraphysin does not mean "to go against the laws of nature", but rather implies action which is uncharacteristic for that particular person. An example of the word paraphysin is used in Romans 11:24, where God acts in an uncharacteristic (paraphysin) way to accept the Gentiles. When the scripture is understood correctly, it seems to imply that it would be unnatural for heterosexuals to live as homosexuals, and for homosexuals to live as heterosexuals.

If you had a dream and God said 'be gay', it could very well be a manifestation of your subconsious. You need to ask yourself if whether it is you who wants to be gay or God. If you are under the assumption that God really did tell you to be gay, then no one else can tell you different. But if you were to really get to the bottom of this question, no one could guide your actions better than you. Ultimately you are responsible.

Schizophrenics also have dreams that God talks to them, so did Joan of Arc. When you start talking about God guiding you, literally, then you fall into the category or 'a little crazy'. Beware.

Right, the purpose of life is to be happy, and God has provided the method for obtaining true happiness. Now, if you are having dreams about being gay in the sexual sense they are probably not from God as he has always condemned such behavior. If God did tell people to be gay in the sexual sense, well, I guess you would have no choice, although it would be very difficult and society would come to an end.

No. Because the Bible condemns homosexuality. So I would know it wasn't God saying that in a dream or otherwise. That it was the father of all lies, Satan.

When I was a child, "gay" meant "happy." Unfortunately, it doesn't have that meaning today.

Wouldn't happen.God doesn't tell people to be gay. If you had a dream about this, that is all from your own imagination.

God never contradicts His revealed Word in the Holy Bible.

God honors His Word above His Own Name.

If this happened in my dream, I would know in my knower it was of a bad spirit that was tempting me. I would pray to God and ask God, "Why?" and submit to God, resist satan and satan flees.

Why is the Levitican thing about men lying with men the ONLY Levitican proscriptions that christians think they should obey?

Probably because they think that one doesn't affect THEM. The other 600+ orders are fine for ignoring...
