Religion & Spirituality - 9 December 2006

I believe in god and i want to grow closier to him. I want to be able to know the bible but sometimes i go to church and everyone else is feeling the spirit but im not . I want to get the holy ghost. I want to follow his word but for some reason im just not getting it

Hi all again!

Ok so in this book I am writing, the main character needs to start a religion (if it gets published your will find out why). And I have a few ideas about start religions but wondered if you all had any ideas of knowledge f how it is/was done officially (as it were)
I have read the Bible and the Koran. (both VERY enlightening texts) But am looking for a way to start a religion. Possibly something like the more modern religions such as Mormon fatihs or Christian Scientology.

I was christian(Unitarianism religion). Then I SCRUTINY About Religions and finally convert to islam. I think most of the people in the world are prejudice about islam. And if they open their eyes they will see the truth.
Islam respects all of the religions in the world.
we( muslems ) LOVE JESUS(PBUH) Very much, even more than christianity.

But everybode think that his/her religion is the best(because from his/her childhood , his/her parents put it into his/her mind that this (currently)religion is the best)and many christian fear of that when they convert to islam they miss the salvation but this is not true) but I think only 1 religion is the best(AND THAT IS ISALM)
I DON'T ACCEPT PLURALISM.
Your Mind says you the truth. therefore read about religions.I am sure you find Islam the best.
I HOPE GOD SHOWS YOU THE CORRECT PATH.
I AM READY FOR ANY DISCUSSION ABOUT RELIGIONS.

I am a muslims i was posing my previous question to non muslim who are always saying muslims are killers and bombers.
I was asking of the muslims you KNOW personally have any of them killed? As i know there is not one out there who can say they do and yes they have killed... does that clarify it?

i'm a muslim & i entered the religion section & i found bad opimions about it. i know there are terrorists who kill & destroy by the name of islam but have you asked your self is it true..
there are bad people in all religions(including islam) but they weren't as famous as osamah bin laden .does that make islam the religion of harm..does osamah bin laden really exsist or is it just a political game for petrol (there are many quistions about it)? even if it's right, between all the huge numbers of muslims worldwide there is one organism...look at the majoroty of muslims.
never forget the mafia, professional killers who aren't mulims..

pllllllllllllllz tell me what do you think as a human with a seperate mind ignoring that i'm a muslim...

I have been asked by Yahoo to give up my freedom of speech,which I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by considering this is the same company which willingly handed internet info over to the Chinese govt about Chinese citizens on internet for them to use in prosecution against dissenters within China. What should I do,just back off for awhile until I'm off the radar or simply set up another account and full speed ahead? I ask in this area because it's this area that got mein trouble,seems some can't handle the truth being uttered in their presence.

majority of the atheists replied to my last question that the dont believe that Jesus was ever exixted.

when your doctor tell you, that you were affected from such disease that caused by this germs, bacteria, virus etc., you never see them but you believe and take medicine to kill them,

you would have never seen your great great grand parents but you still believe them that they existed and you came through them,

there are many unexplainable thing that many human didn't see but they still agree with them

but the great truth is history proves that Jesus existed, our calender is divided from Before Christ and After Christ.

why are you still stubborn to resist Jesus? dont you think that you are violated by Satan to believe this?

why do i see some people joining very fundamentalist and extreme cults and religions? and these cults brainwash them into doing stupid things, and when they realise its too late for most of them.
i dont want to mention the name of these extreme cults , but i wnder why some human beings find solace in such forms of paranoid religious organisations?

I know I was in the subconscious and seeing images, how i get conscious even when asleep is not clear to me. All i know is that it was an afternoon and there was this light approaching ...i was wondering since maybe i am half-asleep..it must be coming from the window where I was lying down...

but Lo...it was even getting more luminous...i felt i could get up but i can't coz my body is to heavy asleep but i feel myself getting up to reach for the light to understand it or observe whatever it is...then suddenly the light caused a blowing wind to make me chill and then i thought the electric fan is on, since i am half conscious but then when i woke up electric fan is not even plugged!

ah...if u can relate...you are most welcome.

Hypothetically speaking you'd be sent to hell for not having been a [insert another religion] even though even god admits you lived the perfect life aside from the fact of choosing the wrong religion. How would you feel about this? Do you think this is just? If yes, why? If you don't, why are you so okay with good people who are Scientologists, Atheists, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, etc. going to your version of hell for not following Jesus? Please be as honest as possible.

If God does not make exceptions, and if He is totally righteous He cannot. The thief on the cross, did not say he was sorry, did not go to church, was not baptized, and did no good deeds, the bible records no penance, and if it was necessary for him to be saved, the bible would have recorded the penance. The bible says that the thief on the cross simply believed in his dying moments on the cross and said "Remember me." And Jesus said "This day you will be with me in paradise." Like it or lump it----"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved." Faith alone. We really are saved by grace (def. undeserved favor.) If grace is grace, it is undeserved, and you cannot earn it or deserve it. God does it for you, not you doing it for God, Agree? If you don't then show me how God could make an exception, and still be absolutely righteous.
