I have been asked by Yahoo to give up my freedom of speech, which I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by considering this is the same company which willingly handed internet info over to the Chinese govt about Chinese citizens on internet for them to use in prosecution against dissenters within China. What should I do,just back off for awhile until I'm off the radar or simply set up another account and full speed ahead? I ask in this area because it's this area that got mein trouble, seems some can't handle the truth being uttered in their presence.

For those who wondered, yes they asked,in so many words of course,I have complained often about questions or answers being deleted on faulty grounds with zero response from Yahoo. Apparently they only take the complaint seriously, not the rebuttal. Some I have let slide because I can be blunt on occassion,I will not sacrafice the truth for someones feelings. No worries though,if I have to set up new account I will. Not a big hairy deal, just wanted to ask opinions.

Everyone here has faced that an Yahoo cites the rules and community standards.

Yahoo is, however, in the process of cutting workers, maybe they'll cut some live people here and just let this be automated.

MSN has also started YnA and I understand it is censorship free.

You can also be creative hint at things openly, you know be blatant without being blantant.

You should know everyone is getting hit here, Christians, Muslims, Atheists, not just ornary people out to demonstrate.

The problem in an elite group of people we call "trolls" who like to press the abuse button cause they think it's fun.

I've taken a stance that any answers of mind that are legitimate and get banned or deleted I report the whole question and try and get it deleted. I mean why leave up white-wash! If my answer, which usually comes from dealings with people, reality or reference works, can't be accepted, then the whole question is slanted and biased.

Friend stay on Yahoo as long a they let you, Yahoo will see very soon, that they don't have any pople left on yahoo to watch Yahoo, then that company folds, Yahoo is a CNN liberl anyway. They can cancel all my accounts today, It will not bother me, ONE BIT,They are not my God. & There is life after Yahoo & it is even a better place to be. So don't worry. If they suspend you, then tell them good bye, You have a more consevertate sight to go to, When Yahoo sensor eveyone, what do they have NOTHING & If Yahoo don't sensor anyone, what do they still have, NOTHING. In fact very soon, I am planning to get off this site for awhile, I don't know if it will be a few months Or for ever. There is TRULY LIFE AFTER YAHOO

I guess it depends on your ideas of free speech.

Are we free to say anything to anybody, anywhere, at anytime?
Should we just speak our minds without any substance to what we say?

If I were asked to leave, I would just leave because I only speak the words of God in R&S.
I do not intentionally say things to demean others, and I do not use R&S to trash those who really believe in God as some do.
Though I may differ with others on this group it is done in love.

I don't know how you can have religion and spirituality with out an understanding and acceptance of the principle that there is a God.
Play the game your way and reap whatever Yahoo dishes out to you.

Also, some members of this group ask questions that have nothing to do with R&B.

Accounts are easy to create. If you really care about anything in that one, just make another and use it. The guys who complain spend more time complaining than it takes you to make up for the punishment.

I have three that I use for different places, just to keep the IM info to the group I want.

I have no idea waht you wrote to get in so much trouble. As much conviction you have about your Freedom of speech obviously the person or (yahoo) had as much to take away your privilages. I hate that you feel like you were done wrong but there are rules in life to everything and if this was already to your knowledge when you joined this program then thats another part of life you got to deal with.

If i choose a hateful answer from a team of idiots...then i know i will consistently assume the atheists on Yahoo! solutions. in basic terms check out the solutions published to this question as an unbelievable occasion of what I advise. If i choose a real and clever answer despatched in love...then I turn to GOD and the Holy Bible.

Considering there are children, and other people who may be harmed by reading certain letter combinations of the english language, and the fact that this website is "privately owned" and has a set of rules of conduct to abide by to use this service for free, would say you abide or go.
Freedom of speach applies to the press and has limits as far as it goes, hate literature is illegal. Also like my house, yahoo is privately owned, do you have the right to enter my house in front of my children and say whatever you want whenever you want in my living room, No you don't. It's private property. So is yahoo, and this is one of its living rooms, children and all. That's why there are rules of etiquette to follow.
Do what you like, rename yourself, abide, or not, you will reap what you choose to sow. Someday you'll have kids and you'll be telling this to someone single as you try to protect their childhood for them to enjoy.
