An angel is a supernatural being found in many religions. In Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism and Islam, they typically act as messengers from God (called Allah in Islam). There is no angel and in almost all religions angels describe all goodness and they are either male or mostly female with beautiful outlook and wings for flying. In Hinduism they are called Gandharvas.

In my opinion the persons who serve the mankind, poor and needy with love for example Mother Teresa, should be called as angels or the messenger of God. Here we should be careful in identifying the persons pretend to be the representatives of God.-

Atm I don't know about literal angels, I have never seen them so I don't take things on face value. In biblical text, angels explain an dynamic of the laws of mind. Which is why allegorically Jacob wrestled with an angel and became the condition of mind called isreal. That was he overcome a law, interval of consciousness.

I met an angel 2 days ago. He was out collecting things for less fortunate people. They are out there. They will touch your life, and cross your path. Just as there is evil, there also is good, and this time of year, be aware, an angel could be the next person you meet today !

If you believe the Word of God (the Holy Bible) then you will accept that God does use Angels to work for Him in our world. It also suggests that they appear as ordinary people. There have been people who've helped me, and I've seen just the once, who may well have been Angels. I don't know. You may like to read Billy Graham's book "Angels".

Yes, there are angels and you wouldn't know them if you did see one. They come in times of great need. There are alot of books about angels and people who have encountered them. I've read the books and they're really good.

Yes, they are described in several ways.
Mark 13:32
Luke 24:23
John 1:51

Hebrews 13: 1,2-----Let brotherly love continue.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained Angels unawares.

Hospitality and being kind to all because Angels do walk among us and we can not distinguish them from everyone else.

Angels were described in flowing white raiments and as common people.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I don't remember seeing where there's a description of an angel in the Bible.
BUT...the Bible does tell us that each of us has a Guardian Angel.

Yes.
They are right there in front of you every day. They are in acts of kindness and heroism.
Find the every day angels rather than searching for ones that you cannot see. You'll be amazed.
Happy holidays!
