Advice before accepting a religion!What say you?

Do not accept anything on mere reports,traditions or heresay;nor upon the authority of religious texts;nor upon mere reasons and logic;nor upon one's own inference;nor upon one's speculative opinions;nor upon anythng which appears to be true;nor upon another's seeming ability;nor upon the consideration,'This is our teacher',
but,when you know for yourselves that certain things are unwholesome,wrong and bad,thengive them up.....and when you know for yourselves that certain things are wholesome an good,then accept them and follow them.

No. The problem is that just about each individual would have their own standard/definition of 'unwholesome', 'wrong', 'bad', 'good', etc. If everyone were to follow theirs, the result would be anarchy.
So, a system is required to set the standards for everybody. The only authority qualified to do that will be the Almighty Himself who designed and created the heavens and the earth and all in them. He did that at various ages through His chosen prophets, culminating with Muhammad and the Qur'an.

Your determination of accepting a religion shouldn't be affected by any influence. All you need is a pure heart, because only a pure heart could undoubtedlt detect the truth of the existence of God.

God gave each one of us a mind chock-full of common sense.
It's up to us to use the free will He gave us to choose the right over the wrong.
And if someone isn't sure about one thing or another...then "Pray for guidance".
