Yes I do believe in the afterlife, and reincarnation. Spirits are part of my everyday life, i speak to them all the time, and pass on messages to others, I know there are a lot of people who will say it's rubbish, it's mind reading, or cold reading, however I have asked people to explain how i can do a spiritual reading say via an email with nothing more than a name, and get it right, guess what they can't answer that. My beliefs, and religion is that I am a Spiritualist, this is like all the other religions man made, well in fact it was formed by two ladies quite sometime ago, I believe that at one time the idea of the bible was good, and God's words, however man has changed that, by using God's name to kill, and control. As a spiritualist I don't go round preaching, we don't demand that you have to this, and that, we don't demand money from you, and we listen to everybody views, all we ask for is that you give your love to each other, and that you have faith in yourself, we would like you to have faith in God, but that's your choice.
I believe that God gave us free will to do with as we wish, however we messed up big time, and now people blame God when he doesn't clear up our mess, or come running when we call, we can't have it both ways.
I have two spirit guilds, and a guardian angel that protect me, and help me in times that I have problems, they are not there to tell what to do, but they help foe example they calm me when I'm under pressure, they do protect when I work with spirit.
People try very hard to put people like me down, the one ting they always say is prove that God does exist, prove life after death, prove reincarnation, well I believe people like me, mediums, and psychics do everyday, I have sat with people who are so rude and are so convinced that it’s all rubbish, but when they leave me they have at least an open mind, after the things I have told them, and to those who say prove it, well I always say prove none of it exist, because they can’t no matter what they say they can’t there is not one scientist that can prove it doesn’t, there are those out there that are fakes and are only in it for the money, but that’s just like most of man kind, but we don’t try and control others, we leave everything for the person to make a choice, if anyone does not want to believe, well OK, but they should not condemn those that do, it’s only human to ask for proof, but they should look at it both ways, prove God does not exist, without referring to the bible which has been written by man in a time that man could only understand a little of what he was asked to write, therefore only writing in a way he could understand.
I hope this answers your question.

Yes, I believe in an afterlife. I am totally convinced both by a couple of near death experiences, and by the rational that it does not make sense that we are here for 75-80 years and we learn something everyday. What for? I also believe that this life is a time of seperating light from darkness, right from wrong, and or, sin from righteousness. Not only why? to this one too, but at least in my life I have learned that there is such a thing as reap what you sew. I know there is gravity, and I know there are choices. What is the point of any of the above if this is it? We should all just be here living like animals doing what ever we please. Why try to acheive anything if we have another opportunity? There is always tomorrow or next life to get it done. The counterfit tells us that if we do good in this life we will reincarnate as some great person. The truth is that you can incarnate into that great person right here by rebirth in Jesus. Today is the day of your salvation. Some religions say that if you serve people on this journey and work real hard and give it all to the church, then you will get it back in the next life. Why wait?, start now. Work and serving will not save you. Get saved now and serve and do good works because that is what a enlightened soul does. You have already got the gift of eternal life with the Creator. Gift first, because of the Grace of God and not works.
As for ghost, the spirit realm has many many spirit out there. The ones that influence the flesh are both dark and light. Since we are light creatures, if we are operating in the path that God has created for us, we will strive to do what is right even in the eyes of the human society. The only spirit or ghost that we need to deal with is the Holy Spirit. Some call Him the Holy Ghost. He has been sent to teach us and to comfort us in our walk with God. Up to the time we are connected to Him, we have so called guardian angles. These angles are assigned to us to protect us, and to prepare us to achieve our reconcilliation with God. After we are born again then the guardian angles get relieved by the Holy Spirit. If the Spirit of God is living in and with you, the work of the angles are done in your case.
As for reincarnation, I don't really think that the original plan has gotten to the point that reincarnation would be a fesible option. People like the idea becauxse they feel if they goof this time they get another chance. I am convinced through the experience of my relationship with God, that this whole enchalada is all very new. We are just beginning the journey and this is the time of getting to the eternal life journey. I just think that you never really die you just go on to another level of your journey. I do think it is necessary to get the light and dark thing straightened our before you go beyond this aspect of the journey. I do not believe that any darkness will prevail beyond this level and that the souls that have chosen darkness over light will not continue. If you don't accept the reality of Jesus and realize that He is the Lord, then you must do that before you leave here or it is over after this for you. The beautiful journey that is just getting rolling, where we will learn everything that God knows is only open to light. Anything that is not of God is sin and sin will no longer be a viable option to me. The wisest thing to do is to get into the mind of Christ as quickly as possible. Then get the Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Then start your eternity today, on the right side of the fence. Even the lost will live forever, but they will not experience the fullness of being with God.To me, it is not even an option because I am already living as though I am in Paradise. Walking day to day with the Holy Spirit and letting Him guide me into the creative aspect of God.

As a Buddhist, I already believe in reincarnation.
Spirits are understood in Buddhism to be really the essence of mind, which doesn't dissipate after death, but either gets reincarnated once again or finds enlightenment and enters the Buddha realm.
A ghost is known in Buddhism as a "hungry ghost", this refers to a persons consciousness being unable to lose their earthly attachments, upon the brink of death, therefore remaining in this world forever connected to some place or person, unknowing that they are dead, and trapped in their own subconscious limbo (the Bardo).
My Belief in the Dharma (the way) prepares me for the eventuality of Death, by understanding via meditating on the impermanence of every insentient being and of time itself.
This might sound rather morbid to a non-Buddhist but under meditation the psychological results can be very up lifting and calming.
The main outcome is an understanding of what it is to live in the present moment and to value each others friendship and love, which is one fine step towards contentment and another step towards peace of mind,.

Yes it's all true, this I know since I have experience all of it. I go with the flow of it all when these spirits do come around, and every time they do another piece of the puzzle is solved, I've seen ghost, angels and spirits since I was about four, I am not that scare like I use to be, not only am I getting use to it, but understanding it..... and it does have much to do with prayers being spiritual, openness, and of a compassionate heart, faith in God.

as a spiritualist , spirit are everything to do with my beliefs ...
spirit communication is the basis of my religion...
reincarnation is something that some accept and some do not , as each person is asked only to accept that which makes sense to them .... so although our religion does not teach reincarnation , it is something that many of my friends with the same beliefs as myself believe in...
ghosts are entirely different and although we are very open and accepting of many aspects of the paranormal , we understand that ghosts are not a conscious energy and serve no purpose for spiritual development ...
however many of my friends , including myself .... have a great interest in the paranormal in general

I believe in something that could be called "reincarnation", afterlife, and ghost and etc (not demons though, that's a bit silly). I don't necessarily believe, because I have directly experienced. I don't believe in anything unless I can prove it in my self by experiences it or observing it and it is in ones power to prove these things if they apply themselves to, do what is necessary to attain that state. This is the way of a gnostic, direct experience, direct experiential knowledge. Probably if I had not experienced the things that I had by applying certain concepts and principles to prepare myself for greater truths I would still be an agnostic, but I have upgraded to Gnostic!

Anyways, I also believe that Christians are right on some degree, that people have not lived before this life - in many ways people haven't, it's the soul selves that expresses and we are not our souls, we are expressions of it and dwell within the mind of God or the one substance by proxy of being within our soul self.

KNOW THY SELF!

I guess part of that depends on what is inside the UFO. :P I watched the 'First Man on the Moon' documentary and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrich reported seeing UFO's while in space. I have seen many accounts in documentaries from pilots and military personnel and this leads me to believe they are seeing something originating from technology not created by humans. It does not conflict with my Christianity because I am comfortable with the fact that I do not know everything about God's Creation but it does interest me. I am curious about what might be out there.

Well, let us consider a favorite topic of Christian thinkers: the topic of eternity. This concept, historically speaking, was one great new idea brought by Christianity to the world. We are pretty sure that eternity exists -- that the word "eternity" refers to something actual, in contrast, say, to the word "angels." Eternity is simply a state in which you are free from and somehow out of and above time. There is no past, present, and future; there is just pure ontological being. "Eternity" is not a word denoting merely a very long time; it is essentially timeless. Well, let me ask this: Are there any changes that take place there; i.e., take place outside of time? Because if you say, "Yes, eternity is not static; things happen," then I at once smile knowingly and point out that you have introduced time once more. The concept "time" simply denotes -- or rather posits -- a condition or state or stream -- whatever -- in which change occurs. No time, no change. Eternity is static. But if it is static, it is even less than long-enduring; it is more like a geometric point, an infinitude of which can be determined along any given line

I believe we are assigned Spirit GUides and protectors when we are born. Yes, a higher power delegates this and organizes it. Be it you call it God, Creator, whatever its ou there. Angels are spirits but they were created as such. They think from an enlighteneed place and also tend to work against the fleshlyn desires or whims, and llok to the greater good of you or others. WHere as Spirits (who may also serve as guides or Protectors) or Ghosts, once lived and walked on this earth,. They are a little more sensitive to the needs and feelings of humans. Due to the fact that they were once living. They to can help us learn things in life. Life Lessons, so that when we pass on we can move up. They in turn for helping guide us, are allowed to move up to higher plane of enlightenment. The Goal to learn all of lifes lessons and reach Heaven, Enlightenment. They will never be angels but they will be right up there with them. We are all incarnated souls. We chose to come back and learn the lessons we wanted/needed to. SOme of us choose to instead remain in spirit and help others serving as guides for others who are living.
I practice Espiritismo, or Carribean Spiritualism. Based on Allen Kardec's teachings but involved with the African and Indigeonous people of the islands. We give small offerings to our ancestors and our spirit guides. We set up Alters also known as Bovedas. Which consist of 7-9 glasses of water for our different spirits we may have in our spiritual frame. ( Our frame is a term used to describe our Spiritual team) We offer prayers, usually Catholic prayers, but sometimes Muslims or non denominational prayers. We pray that God allow our Guides that he assigned us, to further guide us in the right direction and for them to progress and recieve light in order to move upwards towards that elevated place/enlightenment. We also light white candles in order to provide light to these spirits. I pray in the morning and sometimes at night. My guides have helped me help myself and help others. I have recieved visons and dreams and bunches of things I am thankful for.
