This show uses science to analyze events depicted in the holy bible. Many of the events from the holy bible have been shown to be unlikely events that either could not happen or most likely would not have happened due to conditions of that time. As more biblical events are analyzed, their validity is questioned. If they can prove that some of the events and facts in the holy bible are innaccurate, how much merit do the other biblical events and facts warrant? I'm definately not a biblical scholar, but I have to ask the question: is the holy bible a compilation of folklore that has been incorporated into society as the the basis for living a moral life? The problem to this is that there is no concrete evidence to support any of the worlds' religions. As a society we are raised as children to believe and have faith in something that has no proof.

Those who question and doubt the Bible never fully read the Bible, maybe because they fear they will believe and have to make some changes. It is easier to fear and reject than to believe in something you cannot see and take responsibilities. The thing is that God gave the Bible to everyone not some, not everyone will accept God just some, so it is pointless to argue with people who made up their mind not to follow God, all we can do as Christians is pray for them and let God take care of the rest. We are not God's lawyers, we are his servants spreading the good news to those who want to hear, so any issues you have with God take it to him not his servants. May God bless you

Assalamu' Alaikum!

I'm newly married and struggling with coping the life after marriage. My husband isn't from here so me and him are living with my parents. My question is what can i do to please both my husband and my parents. I want to make both of them happy but it seems that sometimes i'll do something or say something that'll offend him or my parents. Also, how can i please my sister as well?

Jazakumullah so much in advance!!

neither one of us have a problem with our respective choices but if we have kids, what do we do? i wouldn't feel the need for them to attend a catholic church, just as he probably wouldn't feel the need to have them perform any rituals with me. how do we find a balance?

I see repeated posting from people insulting Christians and their beliefs very often on here and they are allowed to post at will. When non offensive answers are posted to these it seems that the abuse crew find this to be offensive.

A Mormom asked what others opinion was of the LDS church. I stated the in my opinion it was a cult (can provide studies to prove it) and that there was recovery groups for those that had left the LDS. Now it seems after 4 months (was posted in August) Yahoo has deemed that to be in violation of the guidelines.

It is not the points that are the issue. It is the glaring fact the christian bashers can post without any problem and at will but say anything against any other religious group and YA abuse crew will violate you.

P.S. Don't bother to click the link in the violation notice. You can defend yourself but all you get from YA is a cut and paste reply and they never give a real reponse.

The dead sea scrolls were discovered in the early 1950s which verified Isaiah, and other books. Seeing Revelation was written in the first century, should'nt original copy still be kept some where?

Whether you are religious or not, if you were the only God, what would you on Earth? Would there be a conscious existence after life (if life would end)? and if so, what would the afterlife be like?

The Eastern Orthodox faith don't practice Christmas every December 25. They have something about Feast of the Nativity -- probably closest to the Christian Christmas. So I'm just wondering if I were to greet someone of the East Orthodox faith a Merry Christmas, what is the equivalent greeting? Thank you!

Why do You Hang on to the so called "Prophecies" of the coming of Jesus, yet you completely disregard the Verses stating that homos should be killed in the SAME TESTAMENT!!!

Either take it all, or leave it all, you can't Choose what you like, because it's ALL from God as you claim.

Your thoughts on this?

The treaty of Tripoli, from 1796, states:

:As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, . . ."
