And biblical teachings disscus of the women being made from the male, men came first on this world..... implying that science is inncorret in this manner. Do you belive that the bible should be...updated and corrected of its errors? Prehaps replaced by The Structure Of Evolutionary Theory?

How much of the Bible do you think ( believe) is true?
And, how much of it would you have to understand of it so that you would believe that the Bible is God's word to us (the part that you would not yet understand would than be believed in trusting (having faith in )God that He put it there for a reason)?

So, driving to work this morning i heard an ad over the radio for a Reverends' House of Prayer....the ad was something like " suffering depression? loss of job? lonely and can't find that right person out there for you? Well come to Reverands' House of Prayer where God can heal anyone, all work guaranteed"
HUH? All work guaranteed? How is somebody going to guarantee something that God is going to do?....if that lady wants a man then she's guaranteed one (even if its not God's will for her life?).....i don't get how there can be places like that. And a few months ago i seen an ad on Christian television for a miracle annointing cloth...for like, $20.
i think that is the reason why so many people either have doubts in their faith, or stray away from Christianity all together...some people are making it out to be like magic. Have any of you seen this? And what are your thoughts about it (don't care about your beliefs, want an opinion from everyone)....have a kickin tuesday :)

What implications does this have on the "very foundation of christianity"? I like Jesus christ as a person when I think that he had actually died for the sins of man!!! But what would the difference be if he was human or not? He died, right? So if he was human and sacrificied his life for the sake of mankind don't you think life would have been normal? Why make him the Son of God?

My husband says he feels bored with his prayer life. He feels that he prays the same things over and over can't seem to think of other things or people to pray for other than those he already prays for. First of all, do you think it's ok to pray the for the same people and things continually ( I don't mean the rosary or anything like that) I mean from his heart, or do you think he needs to refresh his prayer time somehow? If so, how?

I am a Christian who is not trying to convert but to get your perspective on how you interpret Zechariah 12:10-11.
Question-Could this have been talking about Jesus, crucified but returned to redeem all of Israel (this time more than just spiritually but also a physical, governmental redemption)? What is your honest opinion of this?

PS- Go Israel!

What is your favorite holiday music? Me, I'm partial to Carol of the Bells, Little Drummer Boy, and anything done by the Transiberian Orgistra. I've also heard some traditional Jewish music in honor of an early Hannakah, and I thought that was beautiful too. If they had a station playing that all Hannakah long, I'd listen.

So, what's your favorite holiday music for your December holiday?

Centuries of teaching "keep it in your pants" followed by failure to do so has proven that we simply can't just "keep it in our pants".

It has been proven that sex is healthy within a relationship and the body even requires sexual relief regularly. Even without manual relief, natural functions result in loss of male "seed" and eggs even more often.

So why is abstinence still taught as a method of birth control and STD when it clearly does not work and can even be unhealthy?

This is the 3rd time i'm trying to post this question. they won't let me.

If God made you the way you are, then:
1:God made you a homosexual, homosexuals perform sodomy.
sodomy is a sin.
So did God make homosexuals to commit sodomy so they won't be allowed in heaven?

God is not a joke we use..with ignorance you speak about Him but do you really know God? If you truly knew, you would never speak about Him in any manner other than thankful..I am not trying to be hateful but do you see what you are doing when posting nasty, vulgar things about God.

about the religious missionaries who go to say, South Africa, where the rate of AIDS is the highest (over 23 million cases) and they refuse to teach anything but abstinence (which scientifically has been shown to not work and has a HIGHER rate of unprotected sex practices). They go there and only educate about abstienence because many don't believe in birth control methods, so they refuse to educate about condoms or make them available. So, couldn't it be said that the same religious people who say homosexuality spreads/causes AIDS are only encouraging the spread themselves?

What a sad way to go through life.
