>Do you think other religions are silly/stupid/unbelievable? Do you find them hard to swallow?
Part of them can be, and part of Christianity can be.
But there's no world religion I've come across that's completely without merit. Instead I see how people use religion to be silly or stupid.
People can use religion to grow spiritually by (1) using the story/myth of the religion as a starting place to tackle otherwise bewildering questions, and (2) using the community of that religion as a group within which to grow and challenge themselves.
Or, they can use it to justify the status quo, claim moral high ground, and dehumanize others by claiming that they are of more ultimate worth.
You can find both types in any world religion.
I can respect all people of any religion that are from the first group, even when I disagree with their theological conclusions.

I do not find them silly or stupid, and I think everyone is entitled to their choices. However I personally believe they are incomplete or in error.
Judaism is incomplete, because they do not believe their messiah has already come, even though the entire OT prophecies undeniably of Christ... (especially Isaiah (Esaias Chapter 53)
Muslims have a few problems in my opinion. In order to fit their arguement they claim the scriptures were corrupted by men. That Mohammed was the true prophet, yet all the other prophets are in Harmony, except for Mohammed. Jesus said you shall know a prophet is true, if he is in harmony with all those before Him, and if he is in the agreement of all previous scripture. If one scripture be corrupt, all is corrupt. A little leaven, leavens the whole lump. Isreal was chosen through Abraham and then through Isaac, and then to Jacob because of faith, and the promise were handed down through Israel. That is why they seem to be the center of the world, and yet still flourish while surrounded by hatred of their very existence.

there are no religious Belief Systems which are " silly - stupid - unbelievable. " the only real differences between one Religion and another are the NAMES they refer to GOD as along with the differences in their Rituals and Ceremonies to Adore, Honor, Worship, Praise, Pray to and Petition, Thank, perform Marriage Ceremonies, Bury the Dead, Etc. Etc. other than these minor differences all Religions are trying their best to answer and help the people gain Heaven and avoid evil.

No, I know a lot of unbelievers who are extremely intelligent. I know a lot of believers who are as dumb as you can get. I do have compasion for all, and yes sometimes it is difficult. You say that you are not trying to bait anyone. Would the fish bite if he knew it was bait? I trust you though. God bless

Stupid or silly? no. Unbelieveable, maybe. The Bible has rules for Christian living. As our culture changes (better or worse) people do not like what the Bible says because it conflicts with what they want to do. No one has ever said being a Christian was easy. So what happens? People condemn the Bible and say it is outdated. Churches change their rules to accommodate the masses even if it means not adhering strictly to Christian teachings. I am Orthodox, the very first christian church ever established. We stay with the original apostolic and universal teachings of the Church.

I think it is highly possible that each religion holds some truths and some untruths. God will be the one who decides what is in our hearts and will deem us worthy or unworthy from there. I believe that even a fool deserves respect as their opinion is no less important to them than mine is to me.

I think all religions are fine. Everyone should believe what they want to believe. I believe in Jesus and I wouldn't want someone telling me that's wrong because it's not.

No. Even if I don't agree with other religions, that doesn't make them any less valid than my own beliefs. By whatever name God is called, He is still Lord.

I believe what I believe. If what others believe do not include the divinity of Jesus Christ, and acceptance of Him as your Lord and Savior, then I believe that to be wrong.
