Just looking at one that is claimed by many Christians as proof, Micah 5:2, I wonder.
It says: But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little amon the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

The obvious question to me is this: When did Jesus ever rule over Israel? One might say that he shall, when he rules over the world, but then why didn't the prophesey say that he would rule over the world? Even if we accept this answer, isn't that a prophesey yet to be filled?

Just curious as to where others stand on this.

The message of Christ is not Christianity. The message of Christ is Christ. --Gary Amirault

To you, does it mean we should focus more on the message of Christ, and less on the religion?

Or, does it seem to say something else?

Personally, I liked it, and am curious to see if it speaks to Christians in a diffrent way than non-christians?

The fact that truth is not relative?

Gravity is not relative. If you jump off a cliff expecting to fly; gravity and the ground will shatter that delusion

Electricity is not relative; if you put you hand in a live circuit, piercing heat and pain will bring you out of that miragge

forces of nature, not relative; go out in a storm (hurrican, tornadoe, flood ect.), and you'll quickly be woke from your fantasy.

Spiritual world, not relative;if you want to be ignorant of the devils devices, there's a good chance you'll be attacked or taken over by a foul spirit.

Jesus is no relative; if you get to the judgement without Christ in your heart; well, we can only say we told you so.

There's a lot of thing's relative to perception; like speed; but God is not one of those things.

Romans 10:3-For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

There have been hundreds if not thousands of other religions that believe they are equally right in their beliefs. Each Christian sect teaches different beliefs and means of attaining eternal salvation. There is no consenses nor is there ever likely to be. Is it possible you could be wrong?

Catholics were specially chosen by Jesus. Let me explain my statement before I ask my question. Catholics are given the REAL presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Other denominations do not have this. Jesus knows all things and our faith is a gift so, if our faith is a gift and Catholics receive his real presence and the other denominations do not, aren't we specially chosen to receive this gift of him in the Eucharist? Others could too if they were Catholic but they are not nor do they wish to be and he knows who will be Catholic and who will not be Catholic
so my question is this : If we have been given this much more than other denominations isn't more expected of us?
