It tells us nothing except we are all sinners, something, BTW that St. paul agreed with:

1 Timothy 1:15 It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.

Even more than that, 2 Corinthians 12:7 And because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me-- to keep me from exalting myself!

And one more (a longer one): Romans 7:15-25
15 For that which I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. 16 But if I do the very thing I do not wish to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that it is good. 17 So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which indwells me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh; for the wishing is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. 19 For the good that I wish, I do not do; but I practice the very evil that I do not wish. 20 But if I am doing the very thing I do not wish, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. 21 I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wishes to do good. 22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, 23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.

Now, if Paul were in such a state, why are you surprised about Haggard? Are you sure you want to point that finger?

Matthew 7:1
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged."

1 John 1:6-10
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

It is easy to fake it...millions have and do.

We are all sinners, we are all guilty, we all struggle with something or another. Strong faith in Christ, this man did not have...if he was strong in faith he would not have continued doing what he was doing.

I would be hard-pressed to find a more true believer?? Hardly...

This should be a wake up call to all current and would-be ministers of God's word....if you have a problem, step down and get help. Do not preach one thing, while at the same time doing another. Sin is forgivable, but hypocrisy shames not only you, but fellow believers as well....Get right with God!!

Nobody knows who is in the lambs book of life but god...if he is saved than christ will restore him, however the consequence of the sin remains.
