There have been hundreds if not thousands of other religions that believe they are equally right in their beliefs. Each Christian sect teaches different beliefs and means of attaining eternal salvation. There is no consenses nor is there ever likely to be. Is it possible you could be wrong?

Because Jesus said so:

" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ (Jn. 14:6)

" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)

"... you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he (Mesiah, Son of God) you shall die in your sins". - Jesus (Jn. 8:24)

"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

All Christians agree on one consensus, that Christ is the way to salvation. All those other religions are no longer around because they have been proven false. Christianity has been around in some sort of form since 4,000 B.C. Also i am catholic, and i know that while Christians say that Jesus is the only way, we believe in the trinity and that Jesus, God and the holy spirit are all the same, but all separate ententies. So choose your pick. Also the sate of Jesus be foe being human was the "word". Otherwise know as the logos. The logos is the Greek concept of the absolute Truth of life. Consider that if you find out how the world works you have found a truth and what is god if not the Truth. This is all taken from catholic doctrine.

The Bible makes it clear that people who are not Christians that have never heard the Gospel and still live according to their conscience will be in heaven. But this gift can only be given by Jesus. He is the giver of salvation. You can't go to any other god looking to be saved. Also if you hear about this truth, but reject the One who gives it you have rejected salvation. It is not supposed to exclusive, or about who is not allowed. It really comes down to rejecting Jesus. Also you are wrong to say that other sects teach different beliefs and means of attaining salvation. The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Jesus never said the differences in some theology would bar some from heaven. All Christians can know they are save no matter what denomination they belong to. God hold everyone accountable for what they know. So I do not even have to be worried as long as I am open to whatever truth I am presented with in the Bible. I want to be loyal to Jesus, not my denomination.

No, I am not wrong.
There is no other possibility.

John 14:1-6
1 "Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.
3 "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
4 "And you know the way where I am going."
5 Thomas said* to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, how do we know the way?"
6 Jesus said* to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Jesus is the only prophet who is still alive today.
Acts 2:32-33
32 "This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses. 33 "Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured forth this which you both see and hear.

Acts 4:12
"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

Jesus is the only way because only God is able to purchase eternal life because He is an eternal being. A spiritual principle of the universe set by God at creation is that "the wages of sin is death". If we sin, we die. In order for us to sin and not die, that payment or wages have to be paid to meet the demands of a holy God. What God devised to offer salvation to mankind out of His mercy and yet still be a just God was for Him to send His perfect, Holy, Eternal Son to die and thus meet the requirements of the Law. No one ese could do that except Christ. There is no other religion offering eternal life on the basis of a sacrifice of an eternal being.

I don't think it is possible that my belief in the Bible and Jesus is wrong. I understand that many people think that the Bible is wrong and I think they certainly have a right to believe what they want to. If given an opportunity I will try to change their mind, to get them to believe like I do, because I know God wants me to try to do that. God does not want me to tell those people about Him who do not want to hear about Him so I only talk to people about God if they want to hear what I have to say.

The Bible says that no one can be saved without Christ's sacrifice for their sins. Christ's sacrifice was absolutely necessary. Eternal life can not occur for any human without Christ's substitutionary death. All have sinned and the wages of sin is death. Without Christ's death no sinner can live eternally. That is the way God made reality.

There are differences in Chrisitan "sects", but the basic message is unified... "God is God, Jesus is the son of God born a man, Jesus died on the cross for our sins, he rose on the 3rd day".

Why is he the "only" way? Because he said "there is no way to the father, except through me."

no i don't think so. Christianity and the Bible are backed by historical facts and the bible is never changing, which is not the case for those other so called beliefs. many of them change with the times, yet the bible remains constant. the bible also has things in it that have come true thousands of years after they were written, that is not the case with these other so called beliefs.

we can say that our faith is the right one because of the miracles we see through Christ, not the ones that we see on tv where the preacher pushes someone over and all of a suden they can walk but the ones we see in the lives of thousands, the little thing that without god life would be unbearable.

Jesus is the only way because HE is the ONLY ONE to die for our sins. He loved us that much. And HE is merciful and forgives us of our sins. Can you think of any other religious beliefs that can top this.
