Some pastors do not know God, even though they give the word of God to people. Some have merely studied, but do not know God. It is important to know this because it is these who give Christians a bad name; these who put people off coming to church because they do not see the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the pastor's life. The Bible says teachers will be judged more strictly than others. Do you understand this?

Pharaoh built the tower of Babel in Egypt
"Pharaoh said: "O Chiefs! no god do I know for you but myself: therefore, O Haman! light me a (kiln to bake bricks) out of clay, and build me a lofty palace, that I may mount up to the god of Moses: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar!" Surah 28:38

Alexander the Great was a prophet
"They ask thee concerning Zul-qarnain (Alexander the Great) Say, "I will rehearse to you something of his story." Verily We established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and the means to all ends. One (such) way he followed, Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness." Surah 18:83-88

I read a few books (1 pro christain and 2 non christain and 1 that seamed nutral) and all of them seamed to indicate (some with undeniable evidance) that while the bible is the most coppied text we have access to, many of the one we find to be the oldest are verry diferent from the ones we have today. An example would be the story in which jesus said "he who is without sin cast the first stone". Also is our oldest text Jesus doesent accually talk with the desiples after being reserected he goes strait to heaven and isant coming back untill his second comming. Read "Misquoting Jesus" to c some of the stuff im talking about. Im not saying im atheist I just want to know anyones thoughts on this pro and con.

I don't celebrate Hannukkah, but my Jewish friends do. I sometimes receive a Happy Hannukkah card, and I am not offended in the least. Why would it bother me to be remembered by people who care?

Pangel posed a question to Muslim's, asking if it would be OK for her daughter to send a Christmas card to her Muslim friend. Here's the link.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ap1T5iND8uyUXyShzbh7x0vsy6IX?qid=20061201040928AAZY9L2&show=7#profile-info-c5684c1eea9174757697f60cf1f073b2aa

My question is this...Muslims...Why so touchy? Since when did trying to brighten someone's day by spreading a little good cheer become offensive?

I'd like to read everyone's opinion of why we always have to be so politically correct. Can't we just spread some love because we CARE?

I am referring to Pentecost, Feast of Trumpets, Tabernacles, Passover, Unleavened bread, and Atonement. These are in the Bible and Jesus observed them..

I would like to know how you came to this knowledge.

Was it from a church? Which one?

Was it from reading the Bible?

Do you currently observe them?

PLEASE ANSWER ONLY IF YOU DO. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANSWERS THAT SAY THEY ARE NOT FOR CHRISTIANS.
THANK YOU.

please comment on this

David Fuller, True or False, Grand Rapids: Grand Rapids International Publications, 1973, p. 78.

"In the Gospels alone Vaticanus has 589 readings quite peculiar to itself, affecting 858 words, aleph Mshas 1460 such readings, affecting 2640 words...Codex Vaticanus differs from the Received in the following particulars: It omits at least 2,877 words; it adds 536 words; it substitutes 935 words; it transposes 2,098 words; and it modifies 1,132; making a total of 7,578 verbal divergences."

But the Sinaitic Ms. is even worse, for its total divergences in the particulars stated above amount to nearly nine thousand.”

Jhon Burgon, The Revision Revised, p. 12.

"It is easier to find two consecutive verses in which B and aleph differ from each other than two consecutive verses in which they entirely agree "

I keep reading all these posts where people are saying "look at what the Christians and Bush are doing to this country". How about you keep the two seperate. When have you ever once heard George Bush say the word Jesus? He says God, but who's God? A Christian wouldn't do what he has done. The global elitests control the world and its leaders. I don't think the guy who takes his family to church every week is leading the war. Nor are Christians manufacturing weapons or conquering lands for resources. Yet the population as a whole accuses the Christian and places the blame upon them. How long before the beheadings start. I don't condone a war or a religion, but I also believe in freedom and religious rights. The freedom to express and speak your mind. The Government doesn't want anything to do with Christianity. They took God out of the classroom and the ten commandments from all Govt. buildings. So how can we even put the two together?

I have experienced many things in life in the rim of spirituality! And I myself had questioned this here event, because just as doctors have said, how is this poissible. Like so many have said, and myself, how the baby was feed. But seeing the proveth and the medical records inwhich the doctors couldn't explain, and put a mark where her navel should've been, there was only one explanation that I arrived at, that she is special, and a singn from the Heavenly Father! "GOD JEHOVAH!" A miracle child! With the Heavenly Father! "GOD JEHOVAH!" ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Those who critize and dispute this fact are ignorant and childish. Yes! I am a true godly man, and this is the very reason that I receives negartive feedback, from those who are narrow minded with a one track mind, due to their lacking in the Holy Word of the Heavenly Father! Especially these here false pastors! I can say this that "GOD JEHOVAH!" AND THE DOCTORS KNOWS THE TRUTH! To all have a nice and blessed day!

Any one have any suggestions to braking down mental barriers you have unwittingly placed apon yourself?

I've aprently decided I'm not ready for a good many things and have gone and put up a bunch of mental defenses and hid from myself... o.o

Which is just down right frustrating....

I'm sick of not being able to figure anything out about myself.... and really sick of the painful migraines I end giving myself from trying (not that I do all the time, I end doing it by mistake more than on purpose)... seams like every time I make a step in the right direction it gives me a headache... and the harder I push the more it hurts.

I'm a stubborn little bastard and about passed out once from pushing and not giving up.

I've tried to go about figuring out these things from different angles but it seams like no how many different always I try to figure myself out ... I've put up barriers to slow/stop myself....

Am I just going about all this the wrong away or what...
