If the Bible and my brain are both the work of the same Infinite God, whose fault is it that the book and my brain do not agree?

What is the literal meaning of this phrase? I understand it's from Faust, but contextually what is it's meaning? What is he trying to say? Any help?

"By the power of truth, I while living have conquered the universe"

Assalamualaikum...
Dear my brothers and sisters....

I am sorry, but I just wanna share what I feel to you...
Whenever I dont have anything to do, I always remember about death. When Izrail comes to take our soul back to Allah...

I also remember about my sins in my past. It was so much sins that I feel so scared that I cannot end my life well (Khusnul Khatima). I am so afraid I cannot spell Shahada for the last time... I have trying to Zikr (remembering Allah by spell the Asmaul Husna). But however I am still scared...

Brother and sister...
I am so sorry, but I just wanna remind you....
Have you been able to Zikr in your every idle time?
My teacher said that enrich our Zikr will ease our pain when we are dying...

Once more, sorry....

Assalamualaikum

There is much debate here about us Christians and what we say/how we act. So here's my question, how would you prefer us to be? What do we need to do to most effectively attract people to our religion, you're our target audience so your insight would be most appreciated. Please no aruging or silly answers. Cheers.

I'm trying to understand their concept of No "i" and No Soul .. Buddhism denies the existance of a soul as it denies the existance of a self... that there is no soul so there is no ego that rules our life on earth which is an illusion.

I am also having difficulties with since there is no i or self because we are constantly changing beings. Coming to the 5 aggregates .. of matter, feelings, perception, volitions, and consciousness. which is constantly changing.. so we are constantly changing.

Could you tell me your thoughts ?

Myself I am a Christians and proud of it. Now if Jesus was to appear to you in a visions and tell you that he is the way truth and light, and he told you that he is Jesus of Nazareth, born of a virgin, died and rose to life after 3 days, and he wanted you to follow him would you? Satan would never admit that Jesus is Lord, or died and rose agoin after 3 days, Satan would lie. And the devil would never admit that he was born or a virgin. So say you know 100% it was Jesus the living Son of God, would you repent and follow him or risk being condemed to Hell for all eternity. Just curious.

I prefer Dawkins' book. Although, he did have the benefit of modern knowledge and science. Also, it wasn't translated -- it was in native English. So I can sort of hear in my head Richard Dawkin's tea-sipping, crumpet-loving voice while I read it.

Which do you think is better? Why?

Something unlucky happened to me before, then I felt it's time to be close to God of my life.
So what do you think? Will we meet him here in this world?
The Bible says he's coming again soon.

How come it seems that the most judgmental and "in your face" group on the religion section seems to be the Christians?
For example, the Muslims and Jews don't seem so judgmental...they don't seem to be telling everyone that they're wrong and telling them that they're going to hell. Why is this?

I'll probably get reported for this, but I'm serious. I've noticed that rabid fundamentalists often have terrible spelling (to be fair, it's not every case, just more than usual in Y. Answers). Is this because their only source of literature is the Olde English King James version of the Bible?

Assalamualaikum,
Dear brother and sister....

In my country, it is Friday afternoon now, and I've just done my Friday prayer...
In the mosque, the Khatib speak about the 2 main things that we, Muslims should do to prove our faith to Allah...

Those two things are...
1. Syukr (thank to God for everything he given to us)
2. Sabr (patient to do evrything in life)

Um, not trying to be more than you....
But just wanna remind you...
Have you done those?

Honestly, I cant do those well yet...

Sorry if it insults you...

May Allah bless us!!!
