Oh my gosh!!! I have noticed, for so many years now, how the most fervent of believers are also the worst simpletons. They seem to demand with their fists in the air how "right" they are while demanding at the top of their voices how "wrong" everyone else is. It seems that with increased intelligence, and education, that this exhuberance dies down and is replaced with a new awareness.

This was an opinion that had crossed my mind many times but as I scanned more and more answers another correlation became abundantly clear. It seems that people who have suffered the American education system, or even worse "home schooling no education at all method" have no comprehension of spelling and decent grammar (of course with some very welcome exceptions that is). I truly fear for the future when the population will sink into groups speaking local dialects quite incomprehensible to all the others. Cultural roots must be maintained but without a common language properly used the nation will simply fall apart.

Well, the chart on your first link shows atheists at 0.97 and Presbyterian Church in America at 0.98 so should you become a Presbyterian or universal salvationist to increase your educational level?

Not necessarily, but certainly a postive correlation between intensity of religious belief and psychosis.

That is only your observation or opinion.
And if it were true it would not be unique to only Christians but fundamentalists of any stripe.

No, I think the emotionalism and good spelling don't mix . Typing and spelling require a calm mind most likely .

Interesting and how disappointing.
Do you think any one version of the [Christian] bible is better than another?
As I said, interesting and how disappointing.

*laughs* yep, you're right, though i think it could be due to them trying to type too fast i.e. they get angry and bash away at the keyboard and the result is a mass of incomprehencable letters (and sometimes numbers - been there :P)
