If I had visions like that, I'd be off to the next mental hospital for intensive treatment.

Ah, the dreaded 'either/or' scenario.......... not really a question then but more an ultimatum. The sort of way any oppressive system operates - including the system of the bible book.
Thankfully the majority of human animals are not deluded and insecure and can actually see the bible book as purely a resume of things that you can do to live a life without harming others.
Whereas followers are totally blind.......... and fools I'm afraid..... sorry !

What authentic international information? purely because a e book holds some information does no longer advise the completed e book is authentic. even although that's how some Christians contemporary the Bible... they discuss "properly that conflict will be shown to take position in heritage", wondering because one element is authentic, then something else of it should be authentic. it really is no longer how one is going about proving issues although.... yet i'm making of venture if I gave you a e book that confirmed authentic international information, yet also had "thoughts" in there about me flying round on a broom, you does no longer be too quick to throw out what's shown to be actuality, yet i'm sensible you does no longer believe I fly round on a broom with out some form of information that it will be finished.... perfect? This "in case you're taking one element, you would possibly want to take all of it" is surely hostile to the Bible itself, which states that you're to educate ALL issues - no longer purely one or 2 factors, yet all.... Now, seeing because that's premier as a lot as this... the reason i'm skeptic is because the Bible, contained in the former attempt, says to no longer believe or do because the "Heathens" do.... yet the thoughts contained in the hot attempt are quite somewhat the very similar thoughts the Heathens had... even decrease back in the course of the former attempt circumstances! i'm skeptic of the Pagan photos of "God(s)". i'm skeptic of each person declaring "that's Absolute actuality" yet won't be able to diminish back each and every thing as Absolute. Like I suggested, you won't be able to hand someone a e book and state that's all authentic, purely because certain factors in it are authentic. it really is hardly a contradiction.... it really is straight forward worry-free experience.

the mind has a funny way of not being able to tell the difference between a lucid dream and reality, so in short. no.
and if you're seeing visions dude, you should get checked out.
also, you make it seem like its soooo easy to "just believe". you say that if i just believe that if i'm wrong i'll have nothing to lose but by not believing i will lose everything if i'm wrong. you may be somewhat right, but even if i said i believed, i would be faking it. think about it, how easy is it to force yourself to believe something that you know not to be true? any true god who was omnipotent would be able to see through my false belief and condemn me anyways. also, i would like to think that there are more important things in life than blind faith. what kind of a god only requires you to believe in him to go to heaven. if you live a good life and are kind and compassionate should count more if you ask me. if god is that narcissistic, count me out.

If I bought into the Jesus resurrection story, and I thought he were the sun of God, yes, I would become a Christian.

I have honestly had christ appear before me in many dreams and have even merged with him in one (hard to explain that in words) And was never told he is the only way and I am not religious. In fact I see organised religion as a cancer to humanity...
So I can tell you with certanty that christ would never say such things...
P.S: devil me bo**ox..

If you had unrefutable proof that the bible is full of holes, mistakes and blatant lies would you denounce christianity? Why can't all the christians out there take some time out to actually read the bible? Alternatively, check out

They stumble because they disobey the message--which is also what they were destined for.
Some are destined for Hell and some for Heaven.
Jesus stood before many while on earth. He preached and performed many miracles yet many who heard and saw went to hell.

Okay, I'm gonna be rude and say it:
Well, duh! Proof is what skeptics prefer to heresay and mythology. If ANY evidence was provided that supported the divinity of Christ then I'd change my mind, just as I'd change my mind to reflect ANY evidence of anything.
Would YOU be willing to accept that Jesus was not of divine blood if someone proved that there was no God?
