A difference in a Christian and a born again Christian? The word of God says for all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. When the time comes everyone who repents at the second coming of Christ will be born again correct? The book of Mark says those who are last will be first and those who were first shall be last. So where in God's word does he differentiate between being I guess you are saying a Christian from birth and someone who has been born again? We are all God's people one in the body of Christ or is that wrong?

A person may call themself a Christian, but they do this when they have been brought up in a Christian home. These people sometimes give Christians a bad name because they do not know God and have experienced no change in their lives. On the other had, a born again Christian has had a dynamic meeting with the Lord and begins to change as the Lord works in his/her life. A born again Christian becomes just that: born again. A born again Christian also has a very real, very personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Do you understand the difference?

I have a friend who has given up everything he has to his faith, He has no internet, no car, no T.V, He basically rides a bike to work, lives in a tiny house and gives more than half of his pay check to people in need or his church. When I asked him why he did this he said Jesus says that you should give up all of your wealth to people who are need. I think this is a beautiful act of kindness and he has helped thousands of people throughout the years and many more to come! My question is why don't the majority of Christians do this? Even the reverend at my friends church has a 6 bedroom house and a new truck every 3 years. Thanks for your answers in advance. If you have any questions you may IM me.

Lately I have come to believe that our involvement in Iraq looks a bit grim.Didn't Americans fight patriotically and passionately for their freedom? The same can be said about the Indians and others.Washington ,Gandhi and Mandella are the protagonists that come to mind .I'm not seeing any patriots in the Middle-East.The word Islam means to submit .So who are they going to submit to ?The West, Iran or the UN?

I mean David Koresh said he was, and we know what happened to him in Waco, Texas. And there have been countless other examples. How do you know Jesus wasnt just a man going around saying he was the son of God and fooling a whole bunch of people?

I'd like the viewpoint of real Christians on this.

We all know that a married person having sex with someone not their spouse is adultery and so is lusting after someone in our hearts.

My question is, if I love someone who is not my spouse and I do not engage in any physical intimacy, is that also adultery?

Would really like God's full definition on "adultery".

To be honest, I don't get it. I mean, would you wear the image of a set of gallows or a noose if they hung people back then? Is it just the simplicity of the design that keeps it in Christian "fashion"?

Now the fish I can understand, it symbolises something in Jesus' life. Why the cross? Is it that people need a constant reminder that Jesus died?

around him to a better place.

Did he think that the only way in the end was to be put to death hoping that others would think of his sacrifice and hopefully change the world to a better place, not knowing at the time that a religion would be based on him that has caused wars and suffering down the ages.

Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works,...

Based on such Biblical accounts as above of fools , is there much hope of their eyes of understanding being enlightened by the impersonal data transfer of the web or is it "vain and profane babblings" -- the vain and profane babblings which we are told to avoid. When the scorners speak their heart and declare to all they are a fool and Christians disobey scripture and engage that vanity and profanity is it fruitful for the harvest or a tool for the Adversary?
