All the above answers are correct...They have told it as it is...and I'd like to add, since you asked this in the religious and Spirituality questions, that a person who would cheat because their spouse cheated on them, should consider the Biblical knowledge that tells us that we are each, individually responsible for our own good or bad deeds. We're really not getting even with the cheater; we're actually cheating ourselves and not accepting God's grace and judgement. God will judge each of us, so try to trust God, that in his way, He will take care of all injustices.

Yes it is, but also we have to see if the first innocient person has already got a divorce, if they have then they can date & remarried only in the Lord.
