What's more likely- God as a singular entity of human or other living creature form who sees the entire world much like a fortune-teller with a crystal ball... The human beings- whom he has helped to create- will be cast into a hell and burned for eternity for not doing his bidding.

Or the reality. All we can take as fact is our consciousness. We are alive, we know that much and not much else (aside from guidance passed down through the centuries and corrupted i.e. many holy book translations).

When we dream we distort the rules of physics and be whoever we want to be. What if we were to have a dream where we did something sinful- would God 'see' the dream and consider it equal to a sin committed in daily life? What control could we have over that? Wouldn't that be a trifle unfair?

It's not a case of who made us or how- but the fact that yes, we are "here". That we need to eat, drink, sleep and have the ability to feel love and pain. That's all we can accept as fact.

Regardless of your 'religion'- to live a life of kindness and happiness, love and respect for all living creatures- pretty much secures a happy ending.

For me, God is the mystery of consciousness- of spirituality and wonder. But I don't consider God a 'him' or a 'her' or that God has any vendetta towards people who make mistakes. God is existance.

So yes, there does 'have' to be a God based on my views- but only depending on your intepretation of what the word 'God' means.

it doesn't really matter what we think about this one. what we think doesn't change the reality that we're all gonna stand before a just and holy God.
