after sometime of sunset, Magrib time starts..u can open ur fast.shias close their fast before us....n there is no reason for it.they can do this.....they offer Namz with open hands....
this is not much impt.

I don't know about the Shias, but I couldn't help noticing that you have a lot of questions posted here saying "Why do Shias ..."

It depends on the difference of when does the prayer time starts ....
Sunnis say that prayer time starts when the sun wholly sets...
Whereas shiite say that prayer time starts when it is a bit dark in the area opposite to the setting sun ....
Sunnis and shiites differ in many things ....
sunnis fold their hands when they pray, shiites don't

I guess not, maybe they put respect more on athan..
But, I guess, both Shii or Sunni open their fasts during Maghrib
