I read this somewhere, where a monk was out and about and is saying, "Everywhere can be my home, but I am still looking for a home?"

As a monk they are preaching senerity, and that in their heart, home is where they religion lies. But why is this monk still asking or looking for his home?

How can answer this?

I see many people on here (and in life in general) who act superior or better than others of a differnt faith and was wondering if they really think they are better or if it that just how they sound?
If you have any thoughts on this or think you are better than others just because of what you believe, please respond.
I believe religion is such a personal issue, there is no way I could know everything another person as gone through, to judge them better or worse off than me.

I'm not looking for any drama or anything. I believe in God, and fully support others' beliefs. We're all different. Now to the question:

I remember from somewhere that when you go to Heaven, you forget loved ones [parents, family, friends, etc] or at least forget your relation to them. And my question is, is that true? And to what degree will we forget? Like a spouse, will you see him/her and not recognize him/her at all? Because I know God wants us to love Him the most, so will he take away our love for everyone else when we get to Heaven?

It scared me you know.. to love someone like a boyfriend or a grandparent and then go to Heaven and not remember the love you had for them. All that love that was invested, just gone. I want my grandfather to remember me if I go to Heaven and see him. I'm just a confused little Christian girl...

This would include good or bad experiences. Did you feel love? Did you feel fear? Was it sensed through the physical presence of another person in the vicinity?

Keep track of the questions from other Christians that go into voting? Because "those of no faith" do, and nothing is more frustrating than having one of the answers of those "with no faith" selected as the best answer when you put it to a vote. Perhaps the best thing to do is not let these questions go to a vote. Just today I got the results back from a question that I posted about how much Bible knowledge a Christian should have. The "Yahoo Community" selected the answer "What difference does it make". Don't let this happen. Keep track of questions that go to voting, please.

Who's to say how long 7 days were when the earth was created? For all we know, one day could have been years, and therefore, dinosaurs would have been created before humans.

Yeeeesh !!! Who do you think you are? Politeness counts you know, even if you are spiritually and nearly physically dead. They should make a category just for you,oh wait! there is one:TRYING TO CONCEIVE{of god}.If you don't believe, then why so worried about what we are talking about?Think you might be mistaken, don't you.The spirit world exists, they have your # too. You"ll figure it out some day, after you get down from your high horse. You can't see the forest for the trees.I guess somebody has to be atheist,I'm glad it's you.I could not imagine a more hopeless feeling than to be separate from divine influence, even since was a toddler I felt a divine presence. As for you, you reek of hopelessness in everything you say.Sad .Very sad. I wish you could be persuaded, but you refuse and cannot be helped.I guess it's true, that some people belong to god and have god's spirit in them, but some just do not.It cannot be possible that both of our types can continue much longer together. Some one is wrong

I see so many people on this site trying to pound their beliefs (whatever they may be) into others and it just makes me think, do they honestly believe that it will change anything? My personal philosophy is that, unless I want to listen and learn, it will do you no good to tell me to change.
Yes I understand that you need to stand up for what you believe in and to in some cases your religion comands you to "witness" (or the equivalent of, depending on your faith). I just don't see how that gives you the right to attack others, sometimes quite viciously. Don't people know that is only going to push someone away?
No I am not tryign to single any one religion out, I just used witnessing as an example.

I'm really in to the Fatima Prophecies and I want to do a little research on it. Can anyone give me some good links that give descriptions on the prophecies, when and where they were given and who they were given too? I want as much info as possible. Infact, if you could give me the synopsis on the Fatima Prophecies that'd be great, too! Thank you so much for your time!
