There is NO HARD PROOF.
The shepherds would never have had their sheep in the country side in the dead of winter. There were many things that the church "baptized" into the traditions of the church, that were stolen from the pagan religions. The date for Christmas is one of them.

That does not make it wrong, just "baptized."

For example, we have Santa Claus in our Christmas; but in our house, Santa kneels at the foot of the creche in prayer, and honors the cross of the Passion, and the empty tomb of Jesus. Santa is a Christian.

As a matter of fact, the original Saint Nicholas is said to have been a participant in the Council of Nicea, where one of the Arians insulted the diety of Christ; whereupon Nicholas jumped up and crossed the room and "slapped the heretic."

Can you believe that? Slapped the heretic!

Okay. Now give hard proof for it.

Logically, no the 25th is not logical.

Now prove that it was NOT the 25th. You can't prove it one way or another.

December 25 is not the birthday of the Savior. It was a day chosen to celebrate his birth. His real birth date is probably in the springtime, and has been guessed to be close to April 6. That is the time of year the census was held (the reason Joseph and Mary had to travel while she was pregnant), and that would be the time of year the shepherds (to whom the angels appeared) were out with their sheep rather than holed up for the winter. There are other reasons but they get pretty involved.

That is easy. Jesus was born when all the world was taxed by the Roman leader during the year that was later numbered as 4 BC. History books have that event pinpointed. It was not any time near the month we call December today. Experts can figure out the year which was about 4BC. And historical records tell of the event of the Roman taxation that resulted in Joseph and Mary's trip to Bethlehem. The month is actually recorded in historic records.

The fact is there is no proof. Dec. 25 is the day chosen because it's the same day as the pagan roman holiday Saturnalia; were men exchanged gifts with each other to celebrate the winter solace. The holiday was outlawed until the Luther Reformation in the 15th century, where it was then reinstated by the church as Christmas.

December 25 is a traditional day for Christmas. The actual time is still disputed personally I believe he was born in late May or June or July because that was when the census was taken back then.

There is no "hard proof" for this particular date. It was chosen as an observance for political and religious reasons well after the Canon of the Bible was finished.

Why worry about it? Nobody is going to go to hell for believing Jesus was/was not born on this particular day. It isn't the day that matters anyway: it is the remembering part that matters!

Of our God? No. Jesus. and no it is not written that dec. 25 is the birthdate of Jesus. Dec. 25 is just the celebration of the birth of Christ.

It isnt. It was converted from the pagan winter holiday. Why oh why did they have to choose the worst time of the year for it. Cold, dark December. Wish they would have chose a date around the summer solstice which is the best time of the year anyway i think. Most people are at their best in the summer.

Jesus was not born December 25th, I don't have time to give you the major reasons why, but basically that Caesar wouldn't have had his citizens traveling in the winter because winters in that region were brutal.

The Bible NEVER tells anything about Christ's birthday, and for good reason. Because God knew that people would begin to worship the DAY, not the man who was supposedly born that day. It is becoming a day of greed and idolatry, which is very sad.

God bless... if you would like more information, just send me a message.

No, it just a day that the old church chose to celebrate. Proof? I am not an astronomer, maybe they can tell by looking back in History and see when the star named in the bible appeared.
