John 20:30-31
30 Therefore many other signs Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book;
31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.
Start with Jesus, like the man in the Temple, "God be merciful to me, the sinner." (Luke 18:13)
Romans 10:8-13
8 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART" -- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
13 for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Get into a church that preaches and teaches the Word of God as the Word of God. I do recommend you NOT go the JW way, because theirs is a system of good works.
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

You must answer this question. No one can answer it for you.
Many people "inherit" their religion from their parents. You can use this as a starting point.
You probably know that Witnesses have no shortage of bible study publications. If you do not already have a copy, ask your dad for the "What Does The Bible Really Teach?" book. This will give you a basic background of JW teaching along with the scriptural basis for such. Look up the scriptures in your own Bible!
You do not say what denomination your mother is. Her church may have Bible study groups/courses or publications as well.
You will get different answers to some questions than you will get from the JWs. You must use your powers of reasoning and maybe do some research to arrive at satisfying conclusions (see Acts 17:11)
Aside from personal study, you should also attend meetings/services. Observe those in attendance, talk to them. This will help you determine what effect the teaching of each religion has on those who are members.
If you do not have answers at this point, you can expand your search. For an overview of religions around the world, you can ask your dad for a copy of the "Mankind's Search for God" book. Other reference materials are no doubt available for those interested in religion; check perhaps your local bookstore or library.

You are in a very tough position. Actually, I'm surprised that the JW's permit your Dad to remain married to your Mom without excommunicating and shunning him, unless your Mom is what the JW's would consider a worldly Christian, because that is what their teachings are like. Most JW's don't know of their own history and that's a shame because that alone would drive most away. They don't know that the Watchtower Society has wrongly prophesied the end of the world several times and therefore stands condemned as a false prophet. They don't know about the true history of their founder, James Russell, and they should. Neither are they aware that the so called Bible which they use -New World Translation- is completely inaccurate and that they can see that for themselves by comparing it with the Interlinear Bibles in the Kingdom Halls. I doubt the leaders would even allow them to get close enough to try. I have said a prayer for you, that God will open your eyes to His truth and lead you to His Son, Jesus Christ.

Read the Bible - the answers you seek are all right there in black & white. Pray to God and ask for His guidance. Seek Him. He is the truth. If you seek the truth you will surely find it. God sees the sincerity of your heart and He will help you discern what is right from what is wrong. He sent His Son to die for us so that none of us would perish. Do you honestly think He's going to leave you hanging now? No way. He is there for you and will help Him if you go to Him for the answers. His instruction book - the Bible - is a great place to start! Pray before you read it and ask God to make His word come alive to you. I can't tell you how many times that very thing has happened for me.
God bless you on your journey to Him!

The answer is simple: listen to the biblical reasoning of each and decide which teachings are more biblical.
But sadly, this so-called "question" is almost certainly insincere.
Anyone who has had any exposure to Jehovah's Witnesses knows that they are a Christian religion, and that they are rightly offended by any suggestion to the contrary. In addition, Jehovah's Witnesses use the personal name of God as often as they use their own personal names; it seems impossible to imagine even a child among them not knowing how to correctly spell the name "Jehovah".
Perhaps sadder than an attempted hoax by a single questioner is the repeated accusations by trinitarians that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

You do not have to believe either dogma. God is a personal God and He speaks to each one of us in a different way, after all, He created us, and know us completely. Just open up to Him, and you'll be OK.

It is very good to question and be open minded," I don't know "makes you open to learn. Jesus's teachings are rooted in the Vedanta philosophy,it says "all things are but God" ; see www.geocities.com/mihirig/siddhayoga and www.stephen-knapp/articles_to_read , click on Christianity and the vedic teachings within it.
