Nope. I consider myself better than certain others by the way I behave, but not because of my faith. Faith is, as you noted, a highly personal thing. To judge another because of their faith is no better than to judge them by the color of their skin or the way they choose to wear their hair.
If you want to bring judgment against me, get to know me first.

Better? No. But we do become different as we grow and learn.
I’ll give you a personal example. I used to have a hard time sleeping before I gave my life to Christ. There would be some nights when I would toss and turn almost all night.
Now that I have learned to let go of all the burdens in my life, I’m asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow and sleep soundly all night--unless a cat pounces on me.
So sleep is an aspect of my life that has certainly improved. I could name plenty others. That doesn’t make me better, it just means that I’m at peace. My life has been made better. How can we help but share this when we have experienced these things for ourselves?

No one has the right to judge anyone else. That is for God to do. I doubt it has very much to do with religion, but how they are as a person in general. Some people have to feel superior to others, just to make themselves feel better. It's really doing them more harm than good. There are people like that from every faith, race, region. Good Luck!!

Not at all. The only reason I can see to share what my faith is, is to help people understand the truth of God's Word the bible.
God does not want any one to face an eternity away from Him & I agree with that. Those who choose to reject Him, make that choice knowing the repercusions.
2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance."
It is hard to explain what a person goes through when they fully understand and receive Jesus' payment for sin, and know that they will live eternally in heaven. For me it was an overwhelming need to share with everyone I knew and loved the way to heaven.
I felt this because I understood, beyond a shadow of a doubt that without receiving Jesus, the alternative would be eternal separation from God. I didn't then and still don't want that to be the fate of my unsaved friends and family.

No person is better than any other. Some will go to heaven, most will go to hell...that is the truth.
Do I think there is only one right, one truth? Yes, I believe that.
What happens to the people that don't follow the truth? They go to hell as God's word is crystal clear.
God judges, people spread His truth....that is not judging, that is telling people what God said will happen, to an unbeliever. That is love. Selfishness is keeping the truth to yourself and not telling everyone you know about God and His judgment, His mercy, His love. His wrath, His jealousy, His sovereign. It's about acknowledging Him in front of your peers despite the hate you will receive. If God has touched your heart and soul you would not be able to contain His love within yourself....God would not allow such selfishness to reside within you.

I do not. I believe that the humble in spirit are those who are truly blessed. Those who think that their religion or beliefs make them a better person than their neighbour really should crack open a bible. This is a widespread issue among professed christians, and it is very sad.
A great woman, one whom I feel was very close to God, once said, "We are not saved as a sect; no denominational name has any virtue to bring us into favor with God. We are saved individually as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. "And 'by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.' We may have our names recorded on the books of the most spiritual of the churches, and yet we may not belong to Christ, and our names may not be written on the Lamb's book of life."
Jesus very often spoke of humility and being lowly in spirit. A true Christian considers themself to be a sinner, not a saint.
God bless you all!

first off you are also human and all the human emotions are common. Probably under different context, but u have felt angr and joy like everyone else. Also i think that to sonsider yourself superior becaouse of religion is like a person feeling superior if they got a higher math score. Ultimate your religion is an anwer to all of your questions.

I maintain to be constantly vigilant of my own deeds and words in my attempt to be a lesser SINNER than I have already been in my sordid past. And I do persevere to follow The Law, as it is written...
I find my participation here to be one that is both refreshing and a learning experience for me, especially in dealing with others. I try to share some of my experiences in Life that, I hope, may also be of some use to others out there.
And in the process of doing so, I DO TRY my best not to judge others...
Peace be with you.
