Yeeeesh !!! Who do you think you are? Politeness counts you know, even if you are spiritually and nearly physically dead. They should make a category just for you,oh wait! there is one:TRYING TO CONCEIVE{of god}.If you don't believe, then why so worried about what we are talking about?Think you might be mistaken, don't you.The spirit world exists, they have your # too. You"ll figure it out some day, after you get down from your high horse. You can't see the forest for the trees.I guess somebody has to be atheist,I'm glad it's you.I could not imagine a more hopeless feeling than to be separate from divine influence, even since was a toddler I felt a divine presence. As for you, you reek of hopelessness in everything you say.Sad .Very sad. I wish you could be persuaded, but you refuse and cannot be helped.I guess it's true, that some people belong to god and have god's spirit in them, but some just do not.It cannot be possible that both of our types can continue much longer together. Some one is wrong

You call them arrogant and yet you sit in judgment of them.
"I guess it's true, that some people belong to god and have god's spirit in them, but some just do not.It cannot be possible that both of our types can continue much longer together. Some one is wrong"
They are a different type of human being than you and a veiled threat of not being able to be together for much longer? Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

You speak of arrogance, but yet you do not see the shining example you are. Your question has been raked over the coals many times here.
You yourself are quite close-minded to be participating in an open forum setting. If you would consider for a moment the opportunity you have here to change the minds of those who disagree with you might open a new world of understanding for yourself. Practice a more tolerant methodology and you might have more insight.
You damn those you disagree with to your eternal hell as if you are glad. Now, that's a real Christian!

The atheist will similarly ask " Why are Christians so arrogant to assert their beliefs about God and the Bible."
I think a better approach would be to just ask a question for the other to answer.
But sadly, most of us don't or can't seem to ask without sounding 'judgemental' and then the others react badly.
I myself have been an atheist before and felt 'superior to Christians' because I thought (wrongly) at that time, that Christians are brainless and stupid to have 'blind faith' in a God that cannot be proven scientifically or intelligently.
I can understand atheists quite well as I was not 'born into a Christian family' and have lived a non-Christian life for sometime.
Don't get too upset. It happens. One day when the atheist 'sees the light' as I did , you'll see a transformation.
Till then, try to be patient with all. Love them all. God loves the atheist too. Don't forget that. :=))

Yes, and it is provably demonstratable that it is you and fellow theists that are wrong:
For knowledge to exist, three facts must be accepted as true:
- Math & Logic are valid
- Direct observations or aided observations supported by Math & Logic are valid
- Supernatural existence, if real, does not involve itself in the natural realm (otherwise, any 'fact' could be changed by the interference -- say by the God of Gravity changing his mind on how strong it will be tomorrow).
Free will can thus be shown to be false:
- The mind is a consequence of the physical nature of the brain (Nonsupernatural causation axiom).
- Quantum physics contains a truly random component (Mathematical axiom)
- All observations can be expressed mathematically (Mathematical axiom).
- All principles causal to observations can be expressed mathematically (Mathematical Axiom).
- All mathematical expressions can be evaluated (Mathematical Axiom).
- An evaluation need not be deterministic, it can be stochaistic, that is, describing 'probabilities'. (Statistical mathematics).
- Since quantum physics can affect the human brain, and thus mind, the human state is mathematically stochaistic (consequential)
- If the quantum randomness is rescoped to be viewed as an input, the human brain ceases to be stoichasitic and is deterministic. (statement of rescope)
- A deterministically computable system is incapable of escaping its previous states, and produces outputs based on a computable result of the previous state and current inputs.(Turing-Church Thesis)
- Determinism counters free will. (By definition)
- Free will is not possible. (consequential)
- If a deity exists, free will is a natural consequence. (axiomic, potentially debatable. However, a deity that creates intelligence without free will cannot hold its creation responsible)
- Free will does not exist, therefore, deity does not exist. (modus tollens).
The idea of a god existing is disproven logically.
----
I welcome ANYONE to find a flaw in it. Seriously. If it's wrong, let's see it. And I'll only make it more air tight each time someone finds a loophole. I may not be able to directly disprove the existence of a deity, but given only the axiom, "a deity leads to free will," which no religion on earth would argue, then I have a testable and falsifiable hypothesis. If I can disprove the result, I can disprove the cause (modus tollens, as stated above).

This whole thing reeks of arrogance. And to assume you know what other people are thinking... obvious proof you can't handle different views. Grow up some and maybe others will take you a bit more seriously.
It most certainly is possible that ALL groups could continue together.... And, did you ever think, EVERYONE could be wrong???? LOL

I know you already have a lot of negative answers to this, but this is a very strong statement you've said.
Regardless of you opinion on Christ and Atheists, it's very unChristlike to talk in this way. If you truly felt Christ as strongly as you claim to then you'd simply accept those who won't believe as choosing that path for themselves and sadly accept the fact that they won't bee with you to further learn in the kingdom of heaven.
Or, maybe they will bee cause they chose not to judge. You seem to me to be strongly guarding you belief, maybe someone has challenged it. Build you defense in silence and embark again on a journey of PEACE.
Do you remember the good Samaritan? Samaritans weren't Christian. (I honestly don't know what they do now.)
Calm down and change the way you act around Atheists, because they don't have to and probably won't change around you.

Your question implies two things, athiests are arrogant, and other people (religious ones?) are not. Both are false. Some athiests are arrogant, just as some believers are.Because athiests' opinions may contradict yours, you may percieve them as belligerent and thus arrogant. Different does not imply arrogance, though it does usually imply a correct answer. Finally, the point of religion is to remove hopelessness, if somebody can do this, like me, without making things up, more power to you.

Everybody is physically dieing. Everybody has sin and physical death is the punishment. So, I guess you are nearly physically dead too? Why are you concentrating so much on atheists? Stop trying to beat everything into their heads with comments on the internet and go out and do something about it? And atheists will be living right beside Christians and all other people until the final day. I pray that you will realize this.

The more we express discontentment against them, the more they will loose the chance to return. God really wants us to be more friendly, more loving to them, in order that they will rely on our open arms whenever they need.
You are right, God will cause all limbs to tremble, but it is not easy for all hearts to realize this fact. Even among believers, there are still doubtful friends, although they dare not say things like people who don't believe.
Yes, let us be more patient, more loving, and pray more ardently that God will give us sufficient strength to support our brothers and sisters on their return.
