Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Delighting yourself in the Lord means worshipping Him, for in the presence of the Lord is fulness of joy. As you worship Him the desires which the Holy Spirit put in your heart will come to pass. Everytime you worship God He is doing something new for you for it is God who works in you to will and to do - Phil 2:13. We are being blessed and transformed in our worship of Him. Praise God!

"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."

I think it means that God already knows our desires, but He wants us to focus on Him first (not on ourself or our desires). Then He will give us our heart's desires (according to His will) He wants us to love Him more than anything else.

It doesn't mean that he will give you what your heart desires, but that he will put His desires in your heart.
