The Book of Proverbs says pride comes before desctuction and a haughty spriirt before a fall.

Well I have fallen lately and I feel very hard in a spiritual sense I can be very unforgiveing and prideful and I also know I am human.

How can I pick myself up again? How can I go forward?

Why would someone with a different faith end up in an afterlife that is not even a part of their beliefs? Why do some Christians and Muslims assume that Hindus, Buddhists and others would go to an afterlife that isn't even a part of their faith? Do Christians and Muslims truly have the One True Universal Faiths by which all people are judged despite their own faith?

To me, people seemed to have behaved the same (if not worse) since the jesus incident. How many sons should god send as martyrs so that people start to realize that love is better than war? It may have been an efficient cult former but as a lesson to sinner... ZERO. I need to say that I'm an atheist for those who don't know me yet.

I was very mean to a person in my church and I did not want to be bothered and she needed my help I did give her the asisstance but I was very unkind. Now I think there is a wall between us and I love this womand dearly and we talked it out but there is damage done to this fellowship courtesy of my BIG mouth. I did say I was sorry but I feel awful, lately I have been such a miserable crabbyface.
What are ways that I can learn to be prudent with my speech to prevent this from happening again. Thank you my bothers and sisters I appreicate any godly advice, counsel and prayers or advice you may have.

Here in this R&S forum, we can only answer a certain amount of questions and then when you have met that number it does not allow you to answer anymore questions? I never knew that- I was just told I had met my quota in answering questions for the day. Anyone else get this? Kinda funny.....

In that book didn't God and the devil have a bet going to see if Job would curse God?

God wiped out (or let the devil wipe out) Job's entire family and his herds of sheep/cattle and ruin his crops... Job really got screwed with that deal.

There will probably be a couple of people here that will mention that God returned everything to Job that had been taken.

Just how did God return Job's dead family?

If you could transform the United States into the country you think it should be, how would Christmas be celebrated? What part should the government play? How would you have it celebrated in schools? What would you like shopping malls to do? Would you erect nativity scenes on public property? If so, would you also erect something to honor the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah?
