Every time I mention a truth about Muslims some always equate Christians with these cowardly acts. Are you afraid to face the truth ?

One of it's beliefs is that god is the combined minds of all living things on earth. Also they bleive that all living beings are equal. I believe this is form of wicca, but i'm not sure. ( I want no one to put any thing along the lines of your religion is false, or other wise trying to convert me or put down my religion.)

Or were all these things chosen by the victims of them, because god gave them free will, too?

I am not religous. I do not believe in God. I am open to the idea that perhaps a higher being may have created me, simply because I cannot prove otherwise. I also have morals. I would never kill another human being. I do not steal. I try to be honest, but to be honest I have to admit that I have and do lie at times. I give to charity, I help the homeless by working in my local soup kitchen every sunday. I try to be a good person. Not because I think it will get me into heaven when I die but because in my heart I know it is right. Yet, I have been told by some christians that I am going to hell. Does not the bible tell them not to judge? One particular christian who does not donate to charity, who gossips and says spitefull things about others, who openly says gays are perverts and deserve to be put to death, tells me I'm a bad person because I do not believe in god. The hypocrisy astounds me. Is anyone else with me on this? I do not mean to imply all christians are like this, just alot

Read that in an Investigative Report in Playboy too, years ago. That
Russia had sound weapons on satellites. Like a dog whistle, we can't hear.
But it is just enough to irritate people!
Did they, and do they still have something like that operating? Have we
something that jams them by now? IF, they exist?

Not asking the aethists, only the religious. I want to know if any belief system is wrong. If not I could technically make up any belief system (ANY) and it could be right, right?

I read that 20 years ago in Playboy. The same as I read about the
Bilderburgers, rich folk, that run the world.
Today they scream about the Trilateral Commission that runs the world. It
was started by the Bilderburgers!
And I read the other day, that cell phones run on the same wavelength as
microwaves. You're slowly microwaving your brains SUCKAS!

My culture and traditions have always been in fundemental Christianity but my heart doesn't agree with it. My heart is strongly alligned with Buddhism. I have never met a Buddhist monk or ever stepped in a Buddhist temple but I feel that Buddhist teachings (dharma) affect me even though it comes from thousands of miles away. I don't want to except a "hand me down" religion. Everytime I speak with other Christians, I feel that they are not on the same philosophical level. Should I leave my home or should I keep to myself and stay put? What would you do?

ok, Heres what i think. apparently, i heard somethin about some vandalism or something to some christmas decorations. now what im pissed off about. is that Jews and Muslims and other religions, who were all mad that people said Merry Christmas. and Demanded it be something like Happy holidays. infact, christmas was changed by them too! Christmas is the Birthday of Jesus Christ, but those ,in my opinion, greedy other religions, demanded so many changes, we got some fat guy who leaves presents for good kids and coal for bad kids and eats billions of cookies and billions of cups of milk on christmas night and flys around on a sleigh with reindeer who magicly run in the air and one of em has a shiny red nose, where the hell did Santa, Frosty, Rudolph, and Elves come from?? what do they have to do with the birth of Jesus? NOTHING! So this hate i heard about to christmas, i say Shut up and if you got a problem with it, go and say your terms for it, shut up about Christmas.

I will need a lot of prayer in the next couple of months because I as well as my husband are stepping out our our comfort zone and trying something new by relocating.

I have been really stressed out and it has not only affected me but my husband and church family as well.

This is a tough one to admit but pray that I spend more time and in the word of God and less time on the computer with e-mail and yahoo answers. When I get answers and affirmations I feel safe and secure. God is awesome but I dont always get an answer right away.I feel a sense of security when I get e-mails or postings but I know my security needs to be with God. Thank you.

Celebrate Christmas and Birthdays?
Not observe the Memorial of the Last Supper on the day Christ said to?
Not have any knowledge of what day each year, without looking at a calendar, the Last Supper took place on?

There have been many questions on here about why JWs only have one observance, and they can show from any Bible why, so can you show from any Bible why they are wrong about these specific observances. This is not a question about any of their other beliefs, so if you answer with anything else besides on this subject, it only shows you don't know the answer and/or don't care to know.

JWs, I know you are itching to answer, but don't touch that keyboard. You may play with the mouse. We already know you can answer the last one using only a pocket watch and observations of the moon.

Disfellowshipped JW

For cause, but not the ones ex-JWs who want to put themselves on a pedestal, want you to believe.

There are two questions in one. Capitalism has turned Christmas shopping into consumerism run amok. What would you propose as a new name for Christmas? The "Christ" in Christmas has already been removed by the capitalists. I know some of you will argue that Christmas is a pagan holiday anyway - which is OK.

Let's face it - Shops are putting up displays 2-3 months in advance. Santa shows up after Halloween, an athiestic, demonic and Satanic holiday. The Jews have Hanukkah where gifts are given for 8 consecutive days. The Muslims have Eid - whatever that means other than occurring after Ramadan. Kwanzaa was invented by a black power professor in the 1960's.

Many people are taught to tell others that they know that they go to heaven if they know that Jesus was God. If you were one of these people and or if you belonged to an organization that helped you get to the top in the world because you went along with the program and didn't challenge their tennant beliefs, if you realized that it was a hoax and that it helped you in a material sense to get where you got to moneywise and socially, would you confess that it was all a hoax and that you did it so that you could survive cause that is what your ancestors did and you were just numb enough to follow a pied piper like many do?

Notice these verses from KJV
Hebrews 1;2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Proverbs 8; 22The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. 24When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27When he prepared the heavens, I was there:30Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; 31Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

I appreciate the answers but I want to follow up. It seems there was a near concensus that morals are determined by the society we live in, or by how we would like to be treated, what is best for the group, common sense, or morals are situational. Some said death is bad, life is good. But what I am trying to get at is if there is no objective universal standard, then things such as rape and murder cannot be evil but only unfortunate for the one recieving it. If we are all products of amoral evolution, then there simply cannot be a such thing as wrongness or rightness. It is only strongest or weakest. But what I find interesting is that even an atheist will object loudly if someone slaps him in the face becasue he insinctively knows it is wrong, not just unfortunate. Likewise if an atheist witnesses a loved one murdered, he will object loudly and emotionally because he knows it was evil, not just unfortunate. But why does he conclude it is evil and not merely unbeneficial?

He gave me many signs to confirm it, like two magazines in the mail after I asked him to confirm it--the first magazine was a picture of a door and on the inside was a couple getting married (which was for Nov 2006) ... The next magazine was of three little girls with one of them holding a trumpet (also for Nov. 2006).
I have been studying these verses: "After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." Rev. 4:1 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 10:9
"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word fom My mouth, and give them warning from me..." Ezekiel 3: 17
I am telling you he told me he is really really coming next week. Funny thing is that I know this, but I still don't know the day or the hour....
