I've been reading up on Mormonism, looking at general websites and websites made by Mormons. Frankly, Mormonism is begining to make so much sense its scary. I think I should balance my research by reading anti-Mormon literature. Any suggestions?

It seems like everytime I turn around, some Muslim is spamming me with Islamic propoganda about how everyone is converting to Islam and that it's going to be the only religion in the world someday because it's "perfect" or some nonsense like that.

Does anyone have some good reliable websites which show that people actually leave Islam? We've all heard about that guy that was facing the DEATH PENALTY for leaving Islam earlier this year, but I'm hoping someone can show me a good source that proves there are hundreds of thousands of people leaving Islam every year?

I have a friend of mine, who is sort of an athiest. I adore her, cos she is so sweet, caring and generally a good person. She doesnt believe in God and the only way she will change is if something supernatural happens in her life. I dont know what i can say to her to help her see the light that i have seen... - by the way i am not in a good place right now with God, but i so want her to meet Him before its too late, and i dont want my present position to mess that up... HELP ME!!!

This was stated in another post and I am curious about the details. Who were the authors of this crime fighting literary device? Did they get paid by a government? Who did it control? The more details the better. Maybe even a link. Thanks.

I'm a revert too, just proclaimed the creed of faith (the shahadah) about 7 months ago. Just curious what made you, my new brothers and sisters in faith, to discover Islam and later decided to live life as a Muslim.

I hear them either whine about how people told them they're going to hell and how they wish that people were more tolerant but then they turn around and attack other beliefs. They constantly complain about christian hypocristy and then they themselves, are hypocritcal. Why is this? Do they even know they are doing this?

every man and woman is born a sinner according to the original sin, so God sends his only begotten son (Jesus) the innocent and sinless as a sacrifice to wash away the sins of mankind.

if Jesus died on the cross and washed away our sins, then,
1) why do babies need baptism?

2) why do you have to be born again?

3) what's the point of Jesus' sacrifice, if humans are sinful by nature and after getting their sins washed away by Jesus blood they are going to continue to sin forever?

I am more confused about this more then anything.I started recording
when she talked in her sleep. She never studied this language,
and I am worried.I took the recordings to a church. They said
that the language was Aramaic.Should I take her to see a
psychiatrist. Some of the translations were disturbing.'the end
is near' etc.

How could He die?
Don't even try the "only his body died", because it says God RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD. If He was God, how could He be dead, and raise Himself?
That, I believe, is why people walk away from Christianity. The three-gods-in-one makes no sense.
Let the thumbs down begin!

I've noticed that each person who considers themselves a Christian has very different characteristics. Most seem to have a very kind and loving attitude....while others seem more focused on the details of their traditions or church structure or whatever.

I'm just curious to see if other people notice this too.
