I am proud to be Catholic and would like to point out head to head with Seventh Day Adventist that they should respect the Catholic teachings as we do respect their beliefs even though it a twisted lie.

I mean, seriously, what is wrong trying to comprehend the so-called "decisions" of God?

We are all trying to understand the nature of God, yet religion itself shut us from asking such questions and simply tells us to accept it.

Why is a Christian satisfied with taking every word as the utmost truth? Where is your curiosity?

I believe a God that does not want to be judged has a lot of explaining to do.

Isaiah 9:6 700 bce predicted-He will be exalted and made very high. He will be despised and rejected. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life as a sheep to make atonement for our sins. He will see his seed and prosper.

Are you willing to let him be your friend-and be born again of His spirit=John chapter 3 Jesus the messiah states "Except you repent and be born again, you can not see the kingdom of heaven."

will you stand with the millions that know Messiah Jesus as savior, good shepherd Psalm 23 & John 10 and best friend -or will you chose not to think and reject him?

im curious
what will happen? will you start doing certain things (maybe what you used to consider sin) and stop doing certain things (going to church for example)???
how will you treat your family, your friends, other people?
what will happen to your self-esteem, self-worth...self-perception?
will your life be worth living? will you choose to believe in God again?
will you be happier? more depressed? will everything be clearer or will you become confused?

No i'm not an aethiest, i am half and half. Believe in God, worship him. Believe in Satan, worship him. I figure that if i worship equally, more chance of ending up in limbo.

When I was a kid, I was told that Jesus was Jewish, but I chose not to question it, because I knew I'd get a huge lecture on why not to question the bible.

I understand that it's written that Jesus was born into the Jewish religion. However, by him saying he is the son of God and the messiah, wouldn't that disqualify him of being a Jew? In the New Testament, Jesus admits to judge Pilate that he is the king of the Jews (Matthew 27:11). If Christianity is based upon Jesus' resurection, would that mean that when Jesus was said to have resurrected, he technically became the first Christian? All of this has always been fuzzy to me.

I honestly don't understand this part. Actually since I lost interest in my family's Catholic beliefs, I've found myself in a better position to ask these questions. I thought I'd ask on Y!A first, though.

If you can prove Da Vinci knew that God is a liar, of which Da Vinci had to be above God to prove the lie and without using scripture,(because to call the Christian scriptures a lie, you have to prove it without using the Christian scripture, as you pesonally had to be there to witness what Jesus did or said to confirm Jesus was lying), or quran, or buddism,or any other scripture to prove it a lie as any other scripture is man made, and that Jesus didn't exist or none of "that stuff" ever happened--I will deny my Christian faith

Since Moses wasn't allowed in the Promised Land, for whatever reason, God allowed hin to see it before he died and was buried outside the city. Was that Israel-to-be? If so, why hasn't his remains been found to this day? Would we have the technology today to determine it was actually Moses' remains (bones)?

Okay, we all know abortion is a very contraversial topic.
Those who are "pro-choice" say that it is the woman's choice because it is her body. Is that "fetus, zygote, embryo" inside her REALLY part of her body? I don't think so. It is a human being with the same rights as you and me, and posseses an immortal soul. It has different DNA than the mother. That is NOT part of her body.

If we started killing animal babies in their mother's womb, I think people would care, and do something about it. They'd be appalled. But when a human, who is above an animal in every way is killed, we think nothing of it, and call it the woman's choice to decied whether her baby lives or dies.

Is this twisted thinking on their part or what?
