im curious
what will happen? will you start doing certain things (maybe what you used to consider sin) and stop doing certain things (going to church for example)???
how will you treat your family, your friends, other people?
what will happen to your self-esteem, self-worth...self-perception?
will your life be worth living? will you choose to believe in God again?
will you be happier? more depressed? will everything be clearer or will you become confused?

I wasn't a Christian before I knew God.

Life then was miserable. This is how it was back then.....

Well, even though not knowing God, life goes on as usual. The only thing is that the way I look at things.

My Perspective:
1. I trust no one. Everyone is suspicious and could be up to no good.
2. I love no one but only myself. Because why should I love others or give to others? What good does that benefit me?
3. I hate and I really hate. Hatred lingers all around. For each time I am being hurt, it is burst out and it lingers for a long as I can remember.
4. I seek for revenge and destruction. For it is my only means of protection. It is the only way I know how to defend myself for nobody loves me, nobody cares for me and I only have myself to rely on.
5. Justice and fairness does not exist. There is no honesty and trust. Only I myself can win in all things. For only I can steal and take things away from others but others cannot take away things from me.
6. Fun means cruelty and at the expense of other's pain.
7. Peace and love? What's that? Never heard of and I believe it never exist. Only to the imagination of others.
8. Money and material things reign! If you have money, you are everything. You can even be like God.

Answers to your questions:
1. What will happen to self esteem, self worth, self perception?
Nothing happened. Self remain the highest place of existence.

2. Is life worth living?
Yes, life is worth living at the expense of others. I mean life is to make money and to become powerful. So, each time you feel sad, just get somebody to be bullied, to be hurt, to be insulted. Next, get something to numb the senses or the bitterness such as (e.g drugs, alcohol, excessive behaviour like gambling, racing...etc.)

3. will you be depressed and confused?
You see, there are those who can actually live life without God. There are religions out there that doesn't have the element of God. Therefore, they deny their senses, deny their pain, deny anything and everything. So, there are those who can actually cope with their without being confused and depressed. There are those who place wealth and wordly achievement as their "god".

But now that I know about Christianity, I believe that religion is the only means to keep a crazy world sane.

I would be depressed if I didn't have faith in God anymore, I would probably go to Hell and life wouldn't mean much once we are dead, I always liked to believe that I would go to a better place and see my loved ones and pets that died earlier and a place without worries, sorrow, pain, if I believed this is my life and it doesn't get any better, there wouldn't be anything to look forward to once I die and I would like to think there is a better place where loved ones are looking down on me and watching over me and protecting me. As for my choices, my faith gives me a good outlook on life, happier and want to be a better person, a christian. As for my family, I would treat them with love and kindness and strangers with or without faith. I am a kind person, generous, considerate with or without faith because I choose to be that way, and if I didn't have faith or believe in God I would still choose to be friendly, kind, generous and considerate to my family and other people because that's the way I am, I'm not a bad person unless people do me wrong.

I've done things I shouldn't have done since I've been a Christian, and it's hard dealing with the conviction of the Holy Spirit until you get right with God again. The sweet fellowship is broken off, and only gets worse until you repent and make things right. But I've never stopped believing....on the contrary. His conviction when I sin, is PROOF of His presence in my life because He promises that as a father chastens his son, so the Lord will chasten those that belong to HIM. He does not allow His children to live in willful disobedience.

Having faith in God is a one time experience. You believe in Jesus and confess Him as your Savior you are saved forever by grace and not by works. This means whatever you do will not cause you to lose your salvation. You also exercise your faith in God to bless you so if you do not exercise faith for His blessings then you live with less blessings in your life. This also applies to the exercise of faith in other areas of your life. But heaven is still your home. This is good news!

Trying to convert Christians is almost as futile as changing a voodoo believer to a scientist....or a vampire to an upstanding citizen ...might as well try to get the truth out of OJ Simpson!
but peaceout and good luck anyway

Can't fathom the thought sorry..... I have received the most valuable things in my life by faith, and those are the children that science and man said I would never conceive.

The bible says that Abraham, through his faith in God, achieved righteousness. So...without faith, where would that leave us?
