Hi Ben,
Just read your question and thought I'd return you a comment.
There are many who will realize that Jesus Christ is the Way. They will say to themselves, I've got plenty of time yet to repent. The arrival of Jesus Christ is way in the future. I'm not going to worry about for awhile.
Yes, that's what many will say. They fail to comprehend that the arrival of the Saviour needs to happen today and not in some future date.
You have come here to plant seeds of the Truth. I to do the same. It is not the responsibility of God's servants to hang around and see if those seeds germinate. We move on to other grounds and plant some more seeds.
Every time I come here to plant, I am sickened by what I read. It is only when I read a question from people who have the Seal of God in their foreheads that give me the strenght to continue.
I just thought I'd let you know that people like yourself are out here as well.><>

I guess some think it is easier to not believe. Faith, believing, takes a little motivation, time (church, prayer, Bible reading, etc.) To be an unbeliever means doing nothing. Some evidently feel they are too sophisticated to believe such things and can easily find reasons for feeling as such. I think they don't WANT to believe, they would rather not even try and not look into religion and see what it teaches and why. It's a sinful world, so blame God. Things go wrong, so blame God. Can't understand everything, so blame God. Blaming God means blaming a God they don't believe even exists How much sense does that make? It is evidently easier to believe in theories they can't explain either. To want an explanation for each and everything that happens is unrealistic. Can anyone explain the who, when, where, how and why of EVERYTHING?. No one can. God can, but it's too much for the human mind to comprehend. People can point out where Christians have made mistakes such as being a hypocrite, sex sins, foul language, etc. Is that God making the mistake or people? Do nonbelievers not make mistakes. To error is human. That doesn't make it right for a Christian to do so but the Christian also knows that they will face God concerning their wrongs and will "face the music" as it were. The Christian also should know that they should repent, turn away from the mistakes, and ask for forgiveness. That's what Christ came to do. Why not accept God that stands for salvation and a better life to come?.

Because it's a religion based on psychic predictions, but female psychics are burned as witches by the same people who follow male psychics predictions. just change the name of psychic to prophet. they're the same thing.
And how can you quote the old testament in reference to someone who was born over a thousand years after david wrote the psalms? it says that his god is a good shepherd. he had no knowledge of the so called son (and prophet/psychic). the new testament reference, i'll buy that one. buddha said you have to be good and that will get you to nirvana (heaven) whitout having to go through all of the incarnations. jesus lowered the ante and said all you have to say is "i'm sorry." and we DO think. infact, we think that YOU don't think when you follow like a lemming because someone says to. do you know what happens to lemmings? one runs off the cliff, all the others follow to their deaths. why be part of a religion so morbidly based on death rather than the beauty of life? you guys make no sense.
and for the record, just because i have different god(dess) than you doesn't mean i worship your satan. that was something thought up during the inquisition to make people afraid. and you still follow the leader, just like you were taught.

guy became into created (no longer developed) and looked with the aid of fact the crown and purpose of all God's re-inventive activity with reference to the earth as guy's specific living house. The expression "enable us to" (a million-26) intimates the Triune God's council and activity in guy's creation (Jn a million:3, Col a million:6 ) as nicely as God's foreordained redemptive plan and purpose for guy upon the earth (Eph a million:4-6). guy became into given dominion over each and every of the earth.

I choose to think. Sadly, that means I can't take the word of the bible as word and law simply because the bible assures me that it's true. See, that would just be foolish. So throwing meaningless quotes at me from a book of dubious reliability doesn't accomplish anything positive. It just makes me wonder whether or not you're capable of thinking on your own...or if you let the book do your thinking for you?

Ok, let me make it simple...most don't accept Jesus, because most are not living the Faith of Jesus Christ that they say they have.
It has been said, if they won't be affected by your silence, then your words will not affect them either.
What you have in America is many words and not much silence. And definately not many living the faith in holiness.
But, I tell you the truth, my dear. If you actually take the words truly, that Jesus said, "Be ye holy, for I am holy," and ask God to help you to be holy, and walk that path. Even to the forsaking of everything, and even forsaking marriage. If you look at your life as a living sacrifice and not think about what you can get out of it, then you won't have to worry about what you say, if it makes an impact, God will put His energies in the words, and they will not be in vain. It is better to say only a few words and have the energies of God in them, because of a holy life, than say many words and they be empty and vain.
Read about how the early Apostles preached and ministered. They didn't sermonize, they just lived. My favourite is when John was ministering in Greece, and was working keeping a fire burning. He did the job poorly as he was rather old at the time, and the fire went out. The lady who owned the bathhouse John was working at, hit him with her fist so hard, that he ended up on the floor. But, John took no notice of it, and reassured his fellow worker in the faith, Prochorus that she was a silly woman and not to listen to her threats. He even allowed her to make him and Prochorus her slaves, and filled out paperwork she required of them.In the bathhouse once a year, a demon would rise up and kill a youth. The owner knew the exact day of this happening, and would make certain his son was not around at the time. But as it happened, the owner of the bathhouse' son, was in the bathhouse, and demon rose up and killed him. The woman who ran the bathhouse, thought it was John who did the hateful deed of killing the youth with sorcery and accused him of being a warlock. John then withdrew and prayed, entering the bathing area, and by his prayer, expelled the abominable demons and restored the soul to the youth's body, and he rose from the dead. When the lady who ran the bath whose name is Romana, saw the youth restored to life, she was utterly astonished and fear and trembling came upon her. She dared not look upon John's face because of her shame. She was then a humbled woman, and fell at John's feet weeping bitterly. And John said, "I am not God, nor the Son of God. I am John, the disciple of the Son of god, who lay on His breast and heard divine mysteries. If thou believest in Him, thou shalt become His handmaid, and I am His servant." Romana listened and believed.
Actions speak much louder than words by far.

I believe in Jesus. He is my savior. I wish everyone did but we as Christians sometimes don't set a very good example. We become worldly and greedy. I think many people want to believe in something but aren't willing to listen to God. I would pray that they would think about what is going to happen to them when they die. Wouldn't it be better to explore the idea of a heaven and find out you were wrong than deny it and find out you were wrong? What is there to loose? Just consider. If there is a heaven do you want to go?

Someone must fulfill all prophesy...even the part about "He will be rejected"
If he was accepted by all the bible would be wrong...and the word of God cannot be wrong in the Christian beleifs.
Hope that helps...thats a reason for you to love non-believers and not pressure or partonize them!
Your brother,
David
