Just looking for some uplifting reading and wondering if everyone might share their favorite chapters or verses.
I really only want serious answers please. If your not a Christian and you wish to answer the question, feel free.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. It tells it like it is.
God sent His Son to die for all of us and our sins. Jesus died for me, when I should have been on that cross. That is how much God really loves us.

I love that verse because temptation is something we all dael with.
I know another one but I'm not sure where it's from: "The rain falls on the rightous and the unrightous."
Bad things happen, to bad people AND good people. I was having a really hard time once and was all like " Why does this have to happen to ME???!! Then my best friend said that verse to me.I wasnt Christian at the time so I didnt get it at first, but now it's one of my favorites.
