No, I would laugh because if you are saved by grace--your good works follow suit. The idea that grace will bring salvation without any works goes against loving thy neighbor as thyself.

Some of the basic beliefs of the Church are:

* God is our Heavenly Father. He loves us and wants us to return to Him.
* Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is our Savior. He redeems us from death by providing the Resurrection. He saves us from sin as we repent.
* Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can return to live with God if we keep His commandments.
* The Holy Ghost helps us to recognize truth.
* The first principles and ordinances of the gospel are faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.
* The Church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth.
* The priesthood authority of God exists in His Church today, just as it did in the original Church.
* The Bible and the Book of Mormon are the word of God.
* God reveals His will to prophets today, just as He did anciently.
* Our life has a sacred purpose.
* Families can be together forever.
* Through serving others, we can experience joy and draw closer to God.

I take it as a good thing that you would spend your Thursday outside with a sign. You do need to get a life. Maybe a little fresh air. Real people for company.

Why would we be bothered if you say something we already know?

Why would that bother me? I would not get mad. I would be sad that you are so blinded. We don't believe it's JUST good works, you must accept and love the Savior, pattern your life after his as closely as you can, make and keep sacred covenants in the temple, perform acts of service, love and charity...there is so much, that is why we have the Savior to make up the difference after we have done all we can do.

Even one sin will keep a Mormon out of heaven. So, there needs to be an atonement for sin. When one is born of God, then their works wont be dead works anymore.

Right now, the works they do are for a lost cause, Joseph Smith being a false prophet.
