Religion & Spirituality - 17 November 2006

I am very blessed I truly am, but I get upset when I am inconvienced and when things dont go right. I am a planner and
I like to be in control but in reality the Lord is in control.

What are ways to godly acceptance and godly surrender. I do have a problem with cursing and I am under loads of stress, and yes I am not the only one.

Some people like me tend to get easily overwhelemd and frustrated others like my husband take things in stride and enjoy life a lot more, he is relaxed and calm.

I am not asking for a miracle answer or for any you you all to solve my problem, I am just asking to for suggestions of how to be more serene and peaceful and safe and secure in God>

Like, "You worry too much," , and "Just ignore it!" Which really means,
they have their own problems, and they don't want to hear it!
And some people try to take "one" saying and apply it to everybody and

If the muslim god Allah promises unrestrained hedonism in muslim heaven, why does he condemn hedonistic behaviour on earth, is the muslim god Allah a two-faced god?




I am refering to the virgins, young boys, wine, wealth...all the pleasures a person desires...which is promised to the person who gets into heaven.

I have a neighbor who openly tells everyone she prays about this and that (usually about things that upset her about her neighbors). She PRAYS, but yet she is the first to spill the beans on everything you tell her at neighborhood get-togethers. She tries with all of her might to make you feel like an outcast because you won't DO WHAT SHE HAS PLANNED or WHAT SHE SAYS? Plus, I NEVER see her going to the church, even on the Sabbath, that she so openly expresses is the reason she prays so much. I wonder if she prays about why she is such a hypocrite?

Don't you know who funds Yahoo!? It's a cabal of capitalist heathens bent upon creating a secular world. It seems by the numbers of believers here that tacit support or approval is given. Where does he say I am God WORSHIP ME.....? Where does he say I am the holy spirit worship me? Why does he pray to God? Why does he not say I am the trinity worship me?
