If the muslim god Allah promises unrestrained hedonism in muslim heaven, why does he condemn hedonistic behaviour on earth, is the muslim god Allah a two-faced god?

I am refering to the virgins, young boys, wine, wealth...all the pleasures a person desires...which is promised to the person who gets into heaven.

Koran 78:31
As for the righteous, they shall surely triumph. Theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, and high- bosomed virgins for companions: a truly overflowing cup.

Koran 37:40-48
...They will sit with bashful, dark-eyed virgins, as chaste as the sheltered eggs of ostriches.

Koran 52:24
Round about them will serve, to them, boys (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.

Koran 56:17
Round about them will serve boys of perpetual freshness.

Koran 83:23-26
The righteous will surely dwell in bliss. Reclining upon soft couches they will gaze around them: and in their faces you shall mark the glow of joy. They shall be given a pure wine to drink, securely sealed...

It would seem obvious that Muhammed had very, very little understanding of the spiritual realm when he set about inventing islam and allah. Hence the focus on "more" physical (worldly) rewards.

Pray for muslims that they might open their hearts and their minds to the love and mercy of the one true God, and to salvation thru His Son, Jesus, and that they may find their way away from the evil and wickedness that is islam and allah.

Oh my friend the first mistake is to question any religion...

They often times thrive on hypocrisy; make little sense when studied; aren't very logical and most everything quoted directly from the source is somehow met with an "its taken out of context!" response by believers despite a valid point being made by skeptics.

your second mistake? expecting cult members to admit their beliefs may contain some inconsistencies this never works its a fruitless endevour attempting to bring some reality to minds that literally thrive on the unrealistic.

Great points and VALID points you have made, however expect little more than "its taken out of context!" by the worshipers. Reality is rarely their strong suit I'm afraid.

According to Islam our true lives only begin once this life ends. This life is a very small ripple in a large ocean. This life is to test us to measure our goodness because no corrupt or demented soul belongs in heaven. You have to remember that in Heaven the rewards that you are stating are only a few among many, most of which we can not comprehend here on Earth. Anything that you recieve in heaven you should surely enjoy and be thankful for-- not call it hedonistic or wrong. I'm sure that you are taking something which is meant to be beautiful and turning it into something perverse.

Well, have you ever seen a dog owner balance a treat on the dog's nose nose? The dog is not supposed to eat the treat until his owner gives the command. I would guess it's something like that.

But to be honest, I don't think I'd be comfortable having a bunch of little boys trying to get me drunk.

This is a perplexing religion. I cannot see how anyone can make since of this. If their god requires such strict adherence to what they call 'moral', how can he provide such immoral activity in eternity.
I know many have problems with the Bible, but there is nothing in the Bible so contradictory as is found in the Koran.

Well I think its so they will save it all up for that time,.... but what I dont understand is this (and I havent had any answers from Muslims abou it) What's the deal with the virgins you recieve in Heaven? If you have sex with them they're no longer virgins so you will tire of them eventually... or, they remain virgins by you not having sex with them... or, they just keep getting their virginity back?

The world may never know..........

I don't see it as being two-faced.

Is it two-faced to, say, reward children for deferring pleasure (cleaning his or her room or doing homework instead of going out to play) with something pleasureable (you've done your chores/homework consistantly, so we'll take you to Disneyland)?

Allah does not exist and the qu'ran stems from Muhammads imagination, and his fantasies about allah his imaginary friend.

All of this, like any other religious scripture, should always be taken WITHIN CONTEXT.
