There used to be a church where I grew up and it no longer exists. Is there a site I can go to to find out about it?

doubt there would be a site dedicated to it but the archdiocese it's in (if it's a Catholic church) would have records and usually some pretty good ones.
you can also check out the local library for that town - go to the card file and pull it up - i'm sure there are loads of microfische with stuff from "back in the day".

PS - i'm hoping you're over the age of 33 and uderstand the library lingo.... mentioned it once and the young person thought i was an alien ; )

Depending on where you live go and check out county records, the library, city hall. There are many was you can find your answer. The best is to ask family members in that area, they usually have the best stories.
