I am raised Cathlioc, I do believe in ghosts. My husband and I bought a new house, that is very old. After we got the keys,I took my kids and my mother threw the house. When we got back to my moms house I asked my 7 year old son (who is mental slow) if he liked the house. He said "yes! but who's that man in your room upstairs?" as we were going throught the house I told him who's room was who's. I asked him "what man?" He said "the man with white hair." There is 2 rooms to my bedroom, theres the main large room, and theres another room that is pretty big and it has 2 closets in there and we keep our dressers in there. We use it like a changing room I guess you can say. Well It has been a year now. When my son sleeps in my room (every now and then) he will close that closit room door, and when I ask why he did that,he says "because the man with white hair is looking at me" Anyone believe this? Is there someone in there? If there is,he is not threating that I can feel. creepy to think about!

Hear me out. Many people on here seem to think that atheists have no basis for morality.

The Christian basis for morality appears to be the Bible. If the Bible says homosexuality is wrong, than it's wrong. What if it said that homosexuality was a good thing? Would it automatically make it right?

If you base your morality on a book instead of your life, why does that give you a 'higher moral code' than people who simply don't do things that hurt others?

I suggest that atheists have a higher moral code than Christians for that reason - that they thought about why some things are right and others are wrong instead of getting their infalliable truths out of a book.

What do you think?

I mean nobody knows about muslims? They are huger then Cahtolisim and not far behind Chrisitanity. People at school don't know a lot about this great religion! Which I am. When I say to them I am a muslim. They'll be like huh? I think we should be educated on other religions besides catholisim, jewdism and christianity.

I just wanna know why some atheists on here continue to ask for proof. Someone said that they would've believed if they were there when Jesus were performing miracles, and would have believed if they could see the nail marks in his hands and feet. His own people didn't believe him, they saw it!!! Do you honestly think you would be one who did? The fact is if you don't WANT to believe in God, you won't. No matter what, God could come down talk to you, do some miracles FOR you, tell you how he did everything, show you more physical evidence, and you would still find a way to explain it as not being real. So why do you ask for proof?

I've met several Christian Freemasons and some tell me that the union is possible. However, I still wonder if the ideas of Islam and Freemasonry are compatible.

Does anyone know?

Serious question actually...more than meets the eye...try to follow.

First, many Muslims immediately reject the claim he was a pedophile because they dont consider sex with children in the context of marriage to be pedophilia. So let me clairify what I mean by pedophilia...I mean any sex with children, by adults, whether in marriage or not.

Muslims get confused over the issue, so let me try to make it perfectly clear ---- I am asking why Allah would chose a man, who at 53, married and had sex with a child, to be the best example of conduct for all time when he could have chosen someone who didnt marry a child?

Unless you believe that the act of a 53yr old forcing a child into marriage, and having sex with the 9 year old, is indeed a GREAT act, not just tolerable but GREAT, then you must agree that Allah chose a less than ideal candidate, and because hes allah, he could have chose anyone.

Although Jesus was a Jew, he is denounced as a non-prophet and unreceognized as the Son of God by the Jewish people. I am trying to find factual information as to how the Jewish people find favor and support among Christians when they isolate themselves from it.

In other words, if someone put a gun to your head and told you to renounce Jesus or die, what would you do?I know it's an extreme hypothetical question, but it's worth pondering if you're a christian.
