This section is for people with an interest in religion or spirituality. I am an atheist and i enjoy the study of religion as a subject. You are a closed minded elitist. Along your line of reasoning the biology section should only be for biologists... if that's the case then why are creationists always in there asking questions about and/or attacking evolution? This is an open forum for the public... you are no authority over who can post where. Welcome to the real world... time to grow up!

Atheists come here to:

Bash
Blaspheme
Attack
bait believers
accuse
discredit the bible and religion
use the forum for a personal chat room and recruitment
Hate
Insult
Mock
Scoff
convert
pervert
demonize
antagonize

This section is for believers only not for filth and slander. They justify their presence by saying that they are spiritual which is a lie from Hell. They say that Christians question evolution which is another lie. Evolution lies belong in the science section. These people talk about atheism as if it is a religion but it is far from it because it is a false cult of demons who hate God and its followers. They don't belong here and should be banned from this site. I will continue to report them.

God bless!

If evolution is not a religious subject (and it isn't) why do so many Americans choose not to accept the facts because of some book?

I like to promote atheism and logic, evidence and reasoning, in places where it is needed. Like Christian / religious forums.

I once read the argument that atheism is not a religion in the same sense that bald is not a hair color. Now if there were a bunch of women were sitting around talking about what kind of guys they're attracted to and the subject of hair color is mentioned, does that mean that anyone who is attracted to bald guys can't voice their opinion? Besides this is just one section of a bigger category know as Society and Culture.

They're not in the wrong category. Why do bigots post in the LGBT section? They're definitely in the wrong category. Believe or not, but Atheists are their own group, and if they feel like coming into the religion and spirituality section-if they're not being nasty or rude-they have the right to.

So, by your logic, atheists are not spiritual? The section is Religion AND Spirituality.

I find many atheists to be very spiritual people. They don't believe in god(s)/goddess(es) but that does not retract from their human spiritual natures. Consequently anything that impacts on both of these subjects is most welcome here. And whether you like it or not, non belief and evolution impact on both subjects.

Spiritual people post here. The evolution questions usually get started by the religion people. Just an observation. God is love.

Does that mean we should be reporting answers that referrece God or the Bible that are posted outside of R&S? Y!A is a truely public forum. If you're not prepared to hear the answers of those who don't share your faith than perhaps Yahoo is the wrong place for you to ask those questions.

One can be spiritual without being religious, and that applies to atheists and agnostics too.Instead of being a narrowminded jackass, how about you lay off the hating and allow other people to learn about other paths in peace?

Perhaps they are curious about other's religions and religious viewpoints... So do you also think that people who don't believe in God have no right to ask about him? Why does it bother you so much that athiests post in R&S? Are you that insecure in your faith? If not, get over it!!
