Although Jesus was a Jew, he is denounced as a non-prophet and unreceognized as the Son of God by the Jewish people. I am trying to find factual information as to how the Jewish people find favor and support among Christians when they isolate themselves from it.

This is definitely not an excuse to hate, decry or condemn people.

I would say that some of the Christian people who support the Jewish people do it for religious matters (like the Evangelists), and some do it because they think it's right.

If that's not enough for you, think of it as a Christian thing; "the other cheek".

In the first place, the Jewish people alive today were not alive during the time of Christ. Therefore, these people today aren't "responsible" for anything about Jesus' life or death. (That would be like asking why we ever get along with Germany when they were responsible for WWII and the Holocaust.)

In the second place, religion isn't everyone's *most important thing ever*. If you're talking about U.S./western support for Israel, it also has something to do with historical ties, geopolitical strategy and the fact that they're actually a functioning democracy.

In the third place, even in the historical account, the Jews weren't "responsible" for Christ's execution; that decision belonged strictly to Pontius Pilate--a Roman governor.

In the fourth place, even if we place the blame on the Jewish High Priests at the time (such as Caiaphas), that doesn't make the whole *people* responsible. Not only was Jesus a Jew, but so was Mary, Peter, Simon, etc. It's this little thing I like to call "everyone's an individual." It gets in the way of fast, easy decisions, grouping everyone according to skin color and race, I know... but sometimes, life is complex like that.

In the fifth place, you're an ignorant moron.

Hope that helps.

I believe the Romans crucified Jesus. I know that the Jewish people had to have helped some, but I am pretty sure the Romans were in charge and what they said was what was done.

I was taught that the Jewish people are the chosen ones and should therefore be revered.

In reality, I treat anyone with reverence if they deserve it. Try it out and stop worrying about the Jews. Stop worrying about a person's heritage, ethnicity, or race and like them (or not) for who they are.

Because the Jewish people are the vessels that carried the precious blood of Christ. They alone were purified and whole to do this. They are the apple of God's eye. To be the apple of God's eye would mean that nothing could happen without him taking notice.
They did what they were predetermined to do. Bring about the ultimate sacrifice of the earth. Jesus death brought a end to animal sacrifice there was no more need of it. Jesus was the last sacrifice offered up to God. Jesus, Lord of the Jews offered his life first for the Jews, but for us too.
Instead of saying why them, say thank you for including me.

The Jews of today did not kill Jesus. And so what if the Jews of today don't recognize Jesus as the only begotten Son of God. That's a Christian belief. Christians don't accept all Islamic beliefs, either. Does that mean you think Muslims should brutalize Christians because of this difference of beliefs?

All people have a natural right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Im not Jewish but dont you think it is unfair to blame someone else's sins on ALL Jews in general? The accusations against Jesus (that some Jews make) can be considered pure blasphemy BUT it is not like the Jews should be responsible for their ancestors. Besides, I dont believe Jesus ever died. He was saved by God and ascended to the heavens. So at the worst they only conspired his death. God bless. Peace.

I think we protect the rights of Jewish people because it is the right thing to do. Should we hate a people just because a handful of their leaders kill the Son of God?

God loves the Jews too. In fact He sent His Son to pay their and our sin debt. Remember, their is a kinship between Christians and Jews that is stronger than the politics of hate.

You'll find out more about this as you continue to seek out facts.

In history, the Jews have been the chose people from God. They also have under gone the most persecution anyone has ever faced. When ever God is making a move on earth, look toward Israel. This is the place the Lord will be returning to when He comes again. Mount of Olives to be more exact.

If you're looking for factual information, isn't it a fact that the Romans had something to do with it? Also, why do so many
Christians hold Jews responsible for an event that happened
two thousand years ago? Since all the people actually involved
turned into dust centuries ago, maybe it's time to stop holding
grudges. Just a thought.

Jesus asked His father to forgive them for they did not know what they were doing. Jesus shows us to forgive.

Jesus was raised Jewish because Christianity did not start until Jesus was in his 30's. He was circumcised; a Jewish custom.

Jesus wants us to love everyone regardless of anything about them. It's hard and that's one way that I rely on the Lord.
