The Bible makes slavery permissible in Exodus 21:20-21, LEviticus 25:44-45. Child slavery is permitted.

It is the god given right to own slaves,

why do Christians think slavery is wrong or immorral, don't they get their morality from the bible

All of the muslims know parts of the Qur'an but more than 13 million muslims know the whole Qur'an by heart. Most of them finish learning the Quran by heart when they are between 6-15 years old. This learning is so perfect that if you call a Muslim Hafiz (memorizer of the Qur'an from USA) and another from Indonesia or for that matter, any other part of the world, they would not differ on even one word!

If all the Qur'ans are thrown into sea and none remains, Muslims can reproduce the Qur'an in its true form in a matter of days. Don't you think its amazing?

Believers say "you need faith" - boring.

Is a rewritten book with no original to be found - tanslated and perverted, chapters omitted and destroyed - the way a god would reveal itself to humanity?

If our soulds really hinge on believing in Jesus, then why does god not give us a better sign? Why not appear to us the way he "did" for the diciples?

Don't we all deserve a sign direct from god, rather than preachers who sexually assult kids, spread AIDS, etc?

Does this not essentially prove that God did not reveal iteslf through Jesus at all?

If they dont believe in absolute truth from the bible, than why are they consciencious about harming others? I there is no God than why not do whatever you want when ever, there is no one watching. If for the benifit of social relationships than why do you still feel guilt when you do something BAD to another? Give me your thoughts and reactions thank you

Why are people even trying to compare these two? It's like comparing life and death. They're simply different in every way.
Some say atheists are smart, intelligent. I'm a christian, and my destination is "Heaven".
How can people who are going to Hell be better than people who will live forever and ever? pls give me an answer to that.
God says in the bible that it will be so terrible that if someone is not saved it would be better that HE/SHE WASN'T BORN AT ALL.

Sometimes I type (I'm a medical transcriptionist) on a patient that does not want a blood transfusion, and the doc states because of his religion, Jehovah's Witness. Does anyone know why this is, and why they don't celebrate holidays... or any other interesting quirky facts, no offense, about the religion?
