exactly right. if there is no design, then cancer, war, hate and injustice are not wrong. this proves the design theory. the flaws are not a result of a perfect designer but willful subjects within the design. or in the case of disease, a mutation inserted by a willful subject. flawed design does not work with total predestination unless the designer is malevolent. only free will inserted into the subject by a higher sovereign will is the answer. you have ascertained the argument quite well. if you were in the class i'd give you a gold star.

Literally, yes.
Contextually, no. There are 'flaws' in the human body in the form of vestigal organs. These serve no purpose, they are a waste. However, they are vestigal because over the generations, they are slowly fading away from our species. Given enough generations, they'll be gone, their remnants scattered only in the junk DNA that holds our evolutionary history. Should we ever need them again, they'll return given sufficent time.
There are simply drifts in the expressions of life.
As far as physics go? No, no flaws really.

I'd rather think that the existence of flaws proves that there could be no perfect designer.

I assume you are talking about "Intelligent Design."
If there is a god that designed all creatures, why would he give humans an appendix? A useless organ. Why would he design womens' birth canals as if they once walked on their knuckles? It causes such problems with birth.
I would believe in "Untelligent Design".....
Or just accept evolution for the fact it is.

your wrong, GOD's creation initally didn't have any flaws, no death, decay, stench or nothing bad. It wasn't until the sin of Adam and Eve that sin entered the world and the world started dying.
If it's not designed then it's an accident and personally I have never found any thing completley good from an accident, and accident always has somekind of loss. Think about it.

If there is no design you would not be here to ask that question, so there would be no flaws since nothing would exist.

What do you mean by 'flaws', exactly? Mistakes? Leftover pieces? Things we don't need anymore, like vestigial organs?
