Can't say specifically why they liked President Bush, but he has stood the ground (at least directionally) for many things that Christians are interested in. Why people like Wal Mart? That should be obvious, the low prices and generally good value. Of course there is still the positive effects they have on a community, like jobs, lower prices even among their competitors, etc.

Religious people are looking for leadership that is simular in thinking to them. The Wal-Mart thing I think is just a reaction to the crazies that are just jelous of Wal-Mart and claim that even though they pay more than any other non unionized store they want to complain about them. A lot of that is started by stores that are afraid of the competittion.

A lot of Christians just see a store that offers good prices and decent jobs and want to know where the beef is?

People tend to like people who are similar to themselves.

1st, Walmart: The whole idea behind Walmart was a Christian one: give everyone a chance.

2nd G.W. I personally am spiritually grateful to G.W. Bush because when he said he reads from the "Tyndale Bible Year" every day, I I tried it and Iove it!

Well, probably because they believe in God, and with a belief in God comes a penchant for traditional beliefs rather than Liberal "progressive" beliefs that would take us away from God and toward humanist philosophy (without restraint!) that does not recognize any deity that our government was founded upon.

Traditional beliefs in our government leads to freedoms in the economy that Wal-Mart reflects through succeeding with capitalism. Liberals wish to take away both tradition and economic freedom in order to make total equality a reality -- which leads of course to socialism and an entirely different path for our government. And it all goes back to a belief-- or non- believe -- in God.

Geo. Bush is doing a great job protecting the country and sending the liberals into a rage....I think he deserves a 3rd term!in

He is definitely doing something right if the liberal God haters are foaming at the mouth.
