I am a christian and I thought this is how I should be anyway - unworldly. This has been playing on my mind and I don't know what to make of it. I'm an unworldly christian that's all. Surely, I'm in the right?

Throughout my questions I see many claims made with vague reference to "the Bible", no citation to chapter and verse quoting Jesus as their authority to make such claims.

Are they not trying to broaden the narrow way so they may feel they qualify for life?

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate: and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brigeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit..."
Matthew 7:13-27

I believe in freedom of speech, but I am just now noticing a lot of questions asked are just to either incite, hurt, or anger people. Especially those in particular target groups (religion, sexual orientation, nationality etc)

"Before you also, the Apostles We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if you do not realise this, ask of those who possess the Message. Nor did We give them bodies that ate no food, nor were they exempt from death." Sura xxi:7-8

"We granted not to any man before you permanent life; if then you should die, would they live permanently?" Sura xxi: 34

The Quran is the Word of Allah revealed to the Apostle Muhammad.

Where does the Hadeeth take us, that gives us Messiah Isa ascending into Heaven in a Jesus manner, alive and unharmed from crucifixion, to come back down some 2000 years later in Damascus?

Can the sheikhs and imams deny the Word of Allah in the Quran or are they going to twist the arm of Jibreel to say that he got the wrong Message from Allah?

Whereare all these Jesus Muslims going on the Day of Judgment?

When will they give us an honest translation of the Quran?

Or does it matter since Allah is the Only Guide?

The sentence is so patently untrue that it would almost be laughable (if it weren't so hate-filled).

I have seen it asked/said on Y!A dozens of times. Do these people really have no idea about the dozens or hundreds of non-Muslim terrorist organisations? Or do they merely not call them terrorists?

I'm pretty much asking whether or not you think a person believing in evolution can still call themselves a Christian, or would they be considered something else?

Many great things come from religion, but being a knowledge-seeking person I can't deny the apparent validity of evolution.

Thanks for the answers.

i am not a perfect person and so are the people here on earth because nobody is perfect.. I must admit, I've done some stupid things but i don't consider myself as a bad person.. I've been through a lot of pain and sacrifices. I learned from my mistakes and trying to have a better life though it's hard... If there's one thing that i want to say to myself, it should be:

angel ann, move on!
