That is a very good question my friend. My guess would be no, they haven't, and they ain't never MET someone who is/was Muslim either! Because if they had (and, I think, if they were being reasonable or in their right mind), they wouldn't say that, because it would be plain as day and night that it wasn't true. It's a truly messed up world we live in

Yes, I'm sure they have. People are free to think whichever way they like. They can read the paper and say " I hate every one on the third planet of the sun!" This doesn't mean that they can't read, it just means that they are hateful. If you really want to promote peace then do not hate people who say " all terrorists are Muslim" find those people and show them the love that a Muslim would give them. Hate fed with hate does not create peace. I know this was not your question, but I just felt that it should be reiterated.

In fact the terms 'Terrorist' and 'Terrorism' are reconstitued by Mr. Bush, after 9/11 incident,. As far as the incident is concerned many learned people and scholars of USA have elaborated that a preplanned either by Jews and by high profile USA agency.
Since Mr. Bush, in the very moment, announced that that has been done by alqaida and they are muslims, therefore most of the people have taken these words as granted and ahve started repeating the same statement. Look a few days back many girls (atleast in 2 schools)have been shooted and killed in USA, by americans, but no one told that that was a 'terrorism' as the persons were not muslims. You can recall miss jill caroline, a journlist abducted in iraq by 'terrorist' and released UNHARMED. On the other hand, in the same land of Iraq, miss ABIR (14 years old girl) was raped by the Brave army (who landed there to end terrorism) of the great country of the world (USA) and was killed along with her whole family. But that was not a 'terrorism'. Therefore, you can imagine yourself that the word / term has been specialy designed. Examples of Viet nam, Japan (Atomic bomb), WWI and WWII are not fought be terrorist but the most honorable nations of teh world. Therefore this term should be taken in its opposite meaning NOT IN REAL and HISTORICAL meaning.

But are all Muslims terrorists?
Once you are a people who do not indulge in alcohol which, by the way, is the blood of the God of Christianity, and you seek to purify your life, YOU ARE TERRORIST.
The murderers are not terrorists, and Christianity pampers the criminal and blames the victim.
Presidents and Prime Ministers who plot mischief and murder innocent men, women and children for OIL, are the real TERRORISTS, as Allah strikes TERROR into their hearts as He did Pahraoh.
The people are terrorised by their incompetent leaders and the media and they are happy to see Muslims murdered as Hitler and the Vatican made Christians happy with his holocaust until Hitler turned on the World.
We now have a choice between Hitler and Pharaoh, or whatever Allah Wills.

I think the real question here isn't "have they ever read a newspaper" but more, have they ever read an ISLAMIC newspaper? or a paper printed in an ISLAMIC country?
The news headlines just like it does in the US or the UK, or anywhere else that terrorism strikes. They talk about the joy of having terrorists captured. Al Qaeda smears Islam with unjust hate.

In a nutshell, no they have not.
The corollary is also true: all Muslims are not terrorists.
But honestly, from reading on this site, I am not sure if people just aren't interested in the truth, or are too dumb to seek it out. I see an awful lot of hatred and crazy generalizations paraded as fact here. It makes me hope that people who use this site realize that it is mainly about opinions, and that you have to do a lot of sifting to find the facts.
Y!A is a pleasant diversion, but I heartily hope no one is using it as their main source of factual information on anything. To think otherwise frightens me to death!

The person who made that statement was a prominent and highly respected member of the Egyptian media. He is a practising Muslim and was simply making a factual statement about the _current_ world situation on terrorism. And for the record what he said was "That _not_ all Muslims are terrorists, but that .... nearly all terrorists are Muslims". Which is quite a different statement to the words in your question.
And of course there are other terrorist groups in the world; for example, the recently disbanded IRA in Northern Ireland, the Shining Path group in Peru, FARC in Columbia, etc., but non has/had a policy of indiscriminately killing and maiming people in other lands through sheer hatred and, in the case of Islamic fundamentalists, in contravention of their religion's doctrine of peace. Hence, it is simply a fact that the main perpetrators of terrorism _in this current era of world history _ are fundamentalist Muslim groups.
Just think of the recent outrages in the name of Islam in America, London, Madrid, Bali, Baghdad, Africa, etc.. and you will perhaps understand why that Egyptian Muslim made his very pertinent and honest comment.
I have several well educated (and non fundamentalist) Muslim friends, and when we discuss this issue (and inevitably we do, for obvious reasons), they agree that Muslim fundamentalists should ask themselves why they think it is right to kill innocent people, including their own co-religionists. Indeed, at this very moment, Muslims are killing more Muslims in Iraq and Darfur than any non Muslim group would ever dream of doing.
So please do not blinker yourself to the facts; acknowledge them instead, and then do your bit to persuade your fellow Muslims (I'm assuming you are of that faith - otherwise why would you be complaining?!) that it is better to live in peace with the non Muslim world than to constantly support conflict.
On my own part, I am trying very hard to get my western friends to understand that 90 percent of Muslims are peaceful and courteous, that they respect education, and are as law abiding as any westerner. Like most people in the world, they simply want to get on with their lives in an untroubled way.
Between us we might make a slight improvement in relations betwen Muslims and non Muslims!
PS Since I composed my answer, many others have written in, and their comments go to support my own view (since many are clearly sent in by Muslims) that 90 percent of Muslims are like my good friends. It gives hope that one day harmony will eventually reign between all faiths and nationalities.

Nobody has world encompassing vision, so calumnies continue to spread. Narrow-minded people love to make condemnation without seeing the whole picture. But along with condemnation, there are also many people accepting Islam.
So, don't worry, just make greater efforts to prove that Muhammad is the Prophet of God.
